I hear you, GM - did you try dispelling the water elemental in your basement? If that doeesn't work, you could use it for inspiration for this battle :D

GM: apologies for any delay in posting. I'm having a few minor issues now; including dealing with a fever, and having to be at work at 6:00 AM today for another full shift (if you don't tell your boss you have a fever, they don't know to send you home, they think you just have some allergies :)
Also, my neck and shoulders are actually getting worse since the issue the seizure and I have to go see a chiropractor tomorrow (I'm actually a bit nervous; I've never seen a chiropractor before, and I don't know what it will entail); plus, the pain meds I've been taking have made me a bit loopy, and combined with the fever it's compromised my ability to get post out more frequently.
That said; I still want to play the game - however; if my lack of posting is compromising that in any way, I will do my best to post more.
For now I've used a Mythic Point.
I'm still waiting on the Detect Magic spell results as well as the results for finding Jiro.

This last seizure was really bad, unfortunately. I still have pressure on my left cheek and sinuses after my head slammed in to whatever it hit when I blacked out. My left thigh is still swollen pretty badly and there are some ugly marks on it still - you'd figure after a few days the swelling and cuts would go away, but so far - not really; but that's one reason I'm seeing a doctor!
That said; despite all of that crap I'm still ready to post - unfortunately there's nothing we can do at this point until the GM makes an update. Here's hoping it comes soon :)

Well I've been here - but I cannot take an action until/unless I get a response to my earlier post.
At this point Horatio had come back to check the status of Rain and Dhaavan. Not knowing where they were, he was prepared to search as I didn't want to waste time if they were in trouble.
Of course, since he has Cat's Grace as well as Haste still on, I didn't want to waste the spells and decided that I'd try to search quickly and that once I found our friends were safe I'd continue to search the place.
After I saw your last post, I responded and as soon as I hear more from you I can act.

He would like to let everyone know that he was unable to post this weekend due to some serious medical issues. At this point everything is okay, but he's still dealing with stuff and his posting may be a bit erratic for a bit longer until he's fully recovered.
Meanwhile, he hopes everyone is doing well and is eager to see what you guys are up to when he gets back on the boards!

Hi, I'm sorry, trying to get back into the swing of PvP is proving difficult with my current hectic schedule, but I'm trying to get back to it...
My continued apologies for my lack of posting. I've been rather sick these past 5 weeks and I'm still not 100%. Add work and family and my plate is overloaded.
Weekend is busy with Mother's Day activities and birthdays. My Monday and Tuesday are going to very busy work days (project I'm working on). I'm going to try to catch up and post on my Wednesday.

Hey everyone. It sounds like everyone is having a really busy time. Do we want to pause and take a week break and see if that recharges us or do we want to just keep posting whenever we can and just kind of fumble along in the meantime with the hope we'll get back in the swing of things eventually?
I just want to make clear that I have no intention of stopping the game, things have been crazy for me as well but I'm trying to get my posting to a more consistent pace.

That's no problem for me either. If we need to take two weeks that's cool too. Whatever it takes to give these sick folks time to get well. Because it is difficult to enjoy anything when you don't feel well.

Ok so I've heard from a few people. A couple that would like a week and a couple ambivalent so let's go ahead and take a week and get back started on monday the 22nd (Rain's tuesday the 23rd) and go from there. That way we can all refresh and get over illnesses and such and get back into the swing of things, myself included. Sound good to everyone?

To recap you all found a hidden door in the basement of one of the buildings. It was magically trapped but Jiro was able to disarm it. You are all together. Don't start exploring until we have at least a few of us back but you can RP together at the entrance, talking strategy or putting forward plans for the coming night, that sort of thing.
