The Rot Grub |
I just bought the hardback at my FLGS, and it's gorgeous.
Still, I have read the original RotRL APs, and I'm just curious as to what's been changed in this edition.
I'm not looking for general observations; I want to catalog those tweaks to the adventure design that were made due to community feedback, to convert RotRL to Pathfinder, or for other reasons.
As I go through the book myself, I'll add anything I see to this thread, too.
(Needless to say, this thread will be full of spoilers.)
Let me start things off:
- There's a new encounter where the PCs discover that the remains of the previous priest, Ezakien Tobyn, were stolen during the goblin raid.
- There's a new scene involving Ameiko Kaijutsu and her father that fleshes out her character much more. This also gives the PCs a chance to meet him before discovering him dead.
- Xanesha can't fly! (Also, it suggests that she start with a sneak attack instead of her medusa mask.)

This thread beat you to the punch.
I saw that thread, but from the OP I thought it was just a "Why should I buy the hardcover?" thread. I'm looking for a comprehensive list of details. Also, the thread seems averse to spoilers.
If we want to merge the discussions though I guess we can.
