Legion of Doom....

Didn't ask this to the RotR panel. Will we see this same writer's line up on a future AP? Players want to know so they can start making their fourth and fifth characters ahead of time.

Liberty's Edge

Greg Vaughn is writing the first Shattered Star book, so don't get too attached to your character.

:( I was hoping to see Golarion's equivalent of Lex Luthor, Braniac, Toyman, Sinestro, Joker, Mr. Freeze, Solomon Grundy, and the rest of the gang.

Greg has written an issue of each AP that has been published, with no sign of a break coming.mmPett also seems to be on a pretty solid run with 8 of the 12 APs

1 person marked this as a favorite.

One day I'll catch him up.

Ha! Awesome, but why only 5:)

Vaughn seemed to have an evil twinkle in his eye about Shattered, but he hadn't read part 5 at that point. Having seen some drafts, it looks like he's irritatingly good as usual.

The great (and at the same time troubling) thing about working for Paizo is the list of freelancers they have and competition is fierce (sometimes violently fierce:)).

I've said before that I'll write anything paizo want - even puppies and unicorns - but mixing writers up is something they're great at and whoever writes each adventure will bring in a good tale to shock your characters and players with.

Huzzah!

Oh that's easy, by the time the first two die you have time to work on some more before the next three die.

So the Adventure Path author Legion of Doom would thus be:
Greg Vaughn
Richard Pett
Nic Logue
Tim Hitchcock

I was going to do six, but every time I tried to think of the deadliest/most horrifying chapter of an AP, it was just the same four names =p

Why is it when you say "puppies and unicorns" it sends a chill down my spines. These are suppose bring happy joy feeling. Not some type of demonic multi-eyed puppy licking some innocent girls face.

But this is why when I was running "The Skinsaw Murders" after reading the description of the house to them I showed them the front cover. They turned and looked at each other and stated "We burn it". Most of them by that time were on their second characters already.

I'm thinking now we need Pett to do a Unicorns module

Nice tactic:)

So the subliminal messages are working:)

It does have one or two odd angles we could go with...

Colourless Puppies from Space and Unicorns of Tindalos anyone? ^__^

I've been thinking about this thread for a little bit and it occurs to me that both puppies and unicorns are terrifying. No extra help needed.

I think I would be quite disturbed to find a sack full of puppies in a a villain's closet.
Ditto for a villain who collected a vast menagerie little toy unicorns.

If AP writers are the Legion of Doom, Vaughan probably has to be Lex Luthor, but who are the rest of us? Which AP authors would be...

Sinestro?
Brainiac?
Bizarro?
Gorilla Grodd?
Black Manta?
Solomon Grundy?
Riddler?
Cheetah?
Toyman?
Scarecrow?
Captain Cold?
That red-haired chick who got really tall? (Giganta apparently was her name)
Nameless goon #1-infinity? :)

I thought the Legion of Doom for Golarion was the final bosses from each of the APs so far. Now there's a challenge that needs 20th level PCs!
