Come join us for a day of PFS goodness at the Carbondale Civic Center, September 8th, 2012!
Little Egypt Wars is Carbondale's annual fall one-day gaming convention. This year featuring Magic the Gathering, Warhammer 40,000, Pathfinder Society, Yu Gi Oh, Pokemon, and more.
Entry to the con is $15 at the door, or $10 with pre-registration. *There is no event fee for playing PFS events. All you need to pay is the registration to get in the door. For other events, there may be event fees, but I'm not entirely sure.*
The convention, located at the Carbondale Civic Center, offers free parking, and is only a short distance from a large selection of restaurants and hotels.
We will be running at least 18 tables worth of PFS events, maybe adding more if pre-registration begins to fill up fast. Included among the 18 tables, we will be offering the The Cyphermage Dilemma and the 2012 Gencon Special, Race for the Runecarved Key!
I am currently looking to fill a couple extra GM spots. If you GM 2 sessions, you get free entry to the con, or just one session GMed to get in free if you GMed at Egypt Wars back in April!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact email me at southernillinois.pfs@gmail.com.
Hope to see you there!

Buuuump V2.0!!!!!
Go sign up! If you come to play even 1 session you could win a James Jacobs autographed copy of Dawn of the Scarlet Sun, one of four (at least) faction dice bags, as well as some other stuff that is also probably cool (depending on what is in the box I get, since I havent seen it yet, lol)!

I've tried signing up for pfs adventures on warhorn but for some reason its not letting me. I've signed up for other cons on warhorn before no problem.Any advice ? Plan on attending on the 8th.
Since there is a charge for entry to the con (no charge for the PFS events themselves), here are the steps you will need to take:
1. Register on the Warhorn site
2. Pay the $10 admission (or $15 after Sept 3rd)
3. Wait for the guy operating the Warhorn site to approve you (basically he will check to make sure you paid and then clear you).
4. Once you've been cleared, THEN you can sign up for events.
If you just registered, I would think he would have you approved to sign up for events by this afternoon, hopefully.
Also, if you cant sign up for the events on the site for some reason, you can always wait til the day of and sign up when you get to the con. The $10 admission will still get you in for that amount, since you would have already paid it.
Hope that helps!

this means it wont be at CogCon I guess... sigh.
Brewfest is now a different weekend from what I've heard. I don't know of any specifics, but it sounds like they had an issue with their first choice of location. If someone who knows something can inform us about it, I would appreciate it.
Also, nosig, we are attempting to make a key ourselves.
And everyone have fun this weekend. My first Con ever was in Carbondale. :)
