You could roleplay as a Pathfinder chronicler, delving into the mysteries of the Darklands without any clue about them.
See, that could be totally hilarious. A snooty monocled Pathfinder know-it-all leading an expedition into the Darklands to *prove* his pet theory that derro are actually a sub-species of gnome or whatever (that have succumbed to the Bleaching and gone mad), and willfully misinterpreting whatever 'evidence' he finds to prop up his theory.
Bonus points if he's a gnome himself, and attempting to find a 'cure' to turn the derro they capture back into gnomes...

What's even more fun is that there are some derro working on the inverse of the exact same theory. They need to turn those poor gnomes back into derro.

I also did the marine archetype and if I'm not mistaken the opening art for the "A Crew to Defend Her" section has one swinging into action...and I think she's a gnome. I'd never envisioned that, but damn, does she look cool.
Mikaze, the Ulat-Ashad is a terrible, terrible thing. Best you leave it unseen. It will only scar you and your PCs.

At CR 15 I hope it will do more than scarring...

Hey Tim,
any chance left to receive my contributor's copy any time soon? I'd be willing to donate again, but can't find the relevant data (slipping it into a Paizo post box would work, too, I gues...).
Ruyan.
Even numbered issues are PDF only. We only print the odd-numbered ones. Sorry, but no contributor copies on #8.
