Does anyone else feel there is a need for Paizo to produce a psionic book for Pathfinder? I'm aware there are third party products available, but unfortunately they don't have the same production value as official Pathfinder material has. I'm use to the hardback books with fantastic artwork within.

Psionics isn't something Paizo is going to tackle anytime in the foreseeable future. Psionics Unleashed by Dreamscarred Press is a great product.

Liberty's Edge

I wouldn't expect any psionics from Paizo any time soon. Eric Mona has said repeatedly that they don't have much interest in it.

While Dreamscarred Press may not have as impressive artwork as Paizo's products do, from a crunch standpoint, they've done just about the best job of adapting psionics for Pathfinder as I could imagine.

You can always pre-order Ultimate Psionics - I would like to think we got a cover artist that is atleast an equal to any that Paizo has ;)

Regardless of what we might feel, guys like James Jacobs have pretty much flat out said they wont do a 'psionics' book. That is, they might at some point (probably not earlier the 2015) do a psychic magic book, but it would function like vancian magic, and not like 3.5 psionics, which the paizo big wigs seem to not like very much. It just isnt going to happen. Heck I'd go further then to say its not going to happen in the forseable future, its not going to happen period. Now if you just want the flavor, given James' recent switch to using the term 'psychic magic' we might see something eventually, but it wont be psionics as we know it.
