Chive and onion cream cheese. With pretzels.

That stuff is so good...

There was some 'nearly past its sell-by date' turkey mince on offer, so I bought it, curried seven bells out of it, then ate it.

Turkey mince is pretty flavourless, in my experience, and needs a fair bit of seasoning to make it palatable.

I haven't had ground turkey in a while, but I used to mix it with some soy, red chili flakes, smoked paprika, and a gob of minced garlic for burgers.

It's great for tacos. :-)

Because my sleep schedule is all screwed up, I just had lunch now: microwaved leftover cheeseburger and a screwdriver. It was better than it sounds... though that might be the vodka talking.

Scarab Sages

Only leftovers...granted those leftovers are potroast with a delicious red wine sauce with mushrooms, sweetpeppers, potatoes and brussel sprouts.. :-)

Feeling better, so had some tuna salad and 1/2 a red bell pepper cut in strips.

Beef stew

Beef stew

All week it is beef stew.

Slice of swiss cheese & extra-strength acetaminophen

5 mins later: 1/2 can of sliced pineapple

Fish sticks, potatoes, and beetroot.

All the ham!!!

And Cheetos.

Beef and green pepper pizza leftover from last night. I love leftover pizza!

Half-sandwich of guacamole and slice of bacon on honey oat toast

Salad (red leaf lettuce, shredded carrot, chopped sweet onions, chopped orange bell pepper, half-can of quartered black olives) w/ Italian vinaigrette

---

Made huge batch of salad, bringing it for dinner with parents tonight.

Pizza made with leftover mexican chili and nacho cheese.

Wait, you can do that?! That sounds really good.

They have that here, we just had one a couple days ago.

Another culinary abomination: cacio, pepe, aglio e gamberetti (spaghetti with black pepper, pecorino romano, and garlic shrimp).

I cooked a box of box of frozen shrimp scampi, then used its leftover liquid as a base for cacio e pepe. It was almost perfect, which is very surprising given the 1) slaadish chef involved, and b) it was a first attempt.

Not as much of an abomination as crumpet pizzas.

Buns with rushed garlic, some cream cheese, sausage, and roman lettuce.

Less of a lunch and more of a medicine. *cough* garlic *cough-ghrbl-cough*

Leftover taco meat & fixins over tortilla chips

Last night I made more tacos with the leftover meat from the night before -- I'd opened the freezer and found some ground elk and some ground kangaroo, and didn't know what else to do with it (wasn't in the mood for burgers).

They were absolutely delicious -- I can't decide which one I like better.

Stir-fried tofu, veg and noodles.

I am such a massive hypocrite.

Also, a version of the Miami Dolphins 'Cuban Sandwich' that I saw a video about on either Faceballs or Bumblr. It was very tasty, wherever it came from.

Does it spectacularly fall apart before you can eat? Are you left with all-too-familiar feelings of vague disappointment and wasted time? I kid, because, Dolphins.

Penne, hot sausage, onions, and green, yellow, and red peppers covered with a cream and tomato sauce. It was fabulous, which is good, 'cause there's enough left over to feed a small army.

Small herbs de provence-flavored camembert cheese.

Not much. Banana and some tea. I am trying to lose some weight and even started buying anabolic steroids for sale to get some results. But I have a friend who can eat tons of food and she is still thin. I always envy such ppl. It's not fair.

Chicken biscuit and small fries from McD's. Fries hit the spot, but they're now using a cheap ground chicken (like their nugget texture) patty... meh.

Rice with minced meat, canned red kidney beans in (supposedly) chili sauce, and canned "Mexican" vegetable mix.

A steak mince curry, put on a naan bread and cooked in the oven for 15-20 minutes. It was rather nice.

Pseudo Cuban sandwich (smoked turkey + ham and honey wheat bread, didn't have roast pork or yummy Cuban loaf)
French fries (from frozen)
Sweetened iced tea

A small Lidl-bought ham and mushrooms pizza.

Later a banana.

Where is the yellow mustard?! Pseudo indeed!

I had yellow mustard, swiss cheese, and pickles in there. I also grilled it.

Fried baloney sandwich
Three small slices of sharp cheddar
Iced water

In Pittsburgh, it threw me when people would talk about having a "jumbo sandwich." At first, I thought they meant like a hero or something, but up there that's a "hoagie." Turns out they meant bologna on white bread.

I crave a fried baloney/bologna sandwich once, maybe twice, a year. Adult me doesn't think they're delicious or anything. Once the craving is sated, I'm good for another six months or more. (I'm the same way with genuine Big Macs.)

---

Today's lunch:
Bacon cheddar cheeseburger w/BBQ sauce on (not garlic-y enough) garlic toast
1/2 glass sweetened tea

Serving of your regular pierogi, the best possible filling (i.e. potato and cream cheese/quark filling).

I don't know about regional names for bologna on wonder white, but I call it poison. Only thing worse is spam...

I had sausage NY style slice with greek side salad today.

Sweet potato, chorizo and proper sauerkraut....

I'd never seen baloney before until 3 months ago....generic orange/pink cylindrical food stuff

LOL.... my gaaaahd!

I've been told that old skool high-end deli baloney (mortadella?) is supposed to be pretty good. Never had it... the few times I'm at a real deli, I'm far more tempted by known delicious offerings like capicolo, prosciutto, soppressata, or any chorizo.

I've got some Hungarian pork & wild boar sausage (nb: not a euphemism). That's a bit of alright.

Pint of takeout pork fried rice
Cup of hot orange pekoe tea w/ honey

Sovereign Court

Grilled cheese and tomato soup.

grilled ham, provolone, & mozzarella sandwich w/spicy* pepper spread
glass of sweetened tea

* They ain't kidding when they say it's spicy.

Sovereign Court

Quinoa salad. 12oz coke.

Spaghetti with tomato/basil sauce, lots of parmesan, and some kielbasa slices. Takes like, 3 minutes (I use angel hair, cooks faster, and chop the kielbasa before freezing it, so I can just grab some chunks to throw in whatever), 'cause I don't cook, as a general rule.

(Too often, by the time I finish cooking, I'm not hungry anymore, and it just sits around for a couple of hours...)

I bought approximately 3 pounds of pork on Sunday so pork chops for a few days. For now with potatoes.

Cooking right now and eating soon!
Tender wheat with veggies: red and green bell peppers, tomato, carrots, chicken peas, onion and some garlic, pepper, oregano and basil, and some ham to add flavor.
I discovered tender wheat a few months ago and I like it as much as pasta or rice.
I'm already hungry!
