Advice

Scarab Sages

Yep I have one in society play. He currently has animal fury, dodge and power attack, and uses a greatsword. I envisioned a nice guy that can just come unhinged and become a monster. I am not using an archetype, and like the idea of bullrushing/ grappling/other CMs (because they say it cant be done); i liked the energy rage powers, but would like some ideas of feat/rage power combos. I would also dip into fighter for extra feats if need be. Ideas?

I comend you fellow small comrade. I have a gnome urban barbarian waiting to take over if my current ranger dies. Same kind of persoanlity. Really nice guy, heart of gold but he goes tazmainian devil if pushed.

If you like the idea of using CM's you should be aware of this

Your small

and
You can only bull rush an opponent who is no more than one size category larger than you.
You can only drag an opponent who is no more than one size category larger than you.
You can only overrun an opponent who is no more than one size category larger than you.
You can only reposition an opponent that is no more than one size category larger than you.
You can only trip an opponent who is no more than one size category larger than you.

Which in those case limits you to effecting Medium sized or smaller creatures.

I ran into this problem when I built a Gnome Fighter Tripper using the gnome hooked hammer.

Fair enough, but its not the size of the dog in the fight. What (non CM ?) related feats/ powers would suit the small warrior?

Well if you want to have some fun since halfing get a +2CHA bonus , take the intimidating Prowess Feat to add your STR to intimidate checks

then take intimidating glare to make intimidate checks as a move action, then take terrifying howl to make shaken enemies panicked which means they drop their weapons and run away provoking AoO's all the way.

then factor in this intimidation is coming out of a small sized character and you should have some fun ;)

Maybe I should show some stats...16 str, 14 dex, 14 con, 10 int, 10 wis, 9 cha. Had to sacrifice charisma for the strength

With the feat I suggested your STR bonus adds to your CHA bonus for intimidations checks so the idea still works, just knock that 9 up to 10 with your 4th level attribute pick

Cornugon smash and dreadful carnage coul help too. Also dazzling display + terriying howl = win, recomend that feat to another party member.
