Hello everyone! I hope you all are enjoying your week so far.
It has come to my attention that there has been an update to the Society campaign on the Paizo blog today. For reference, I will link it here.
I would like to hear people's opinion on addressing this change for PFS in our area. What are your thoughts?

I don't believe we have enough veterans who show up regularly for which it would be a benefit to set up Core tables. I've played at the Griffon since we've started and supplement that with online play and I still haven't played at least half the scenarios out there.
On the other hand, if we know we're going to have an influx of new people, then it might be good to set up a low level Core table.
In general, I think it's best to stick to the non-core campaign, although polling people on site would be the best since many don't check the paizo boards very often.
This is just me but I would be more inclined to play the Core campaign over the non-Core. I enjoy the lighter games with less rules and I think it would be fun at least to have maybe one table play the Core.

I am still on the fence about running both at the Griffon, only from the viewpoint of organizing the sessions; it would be a headache of sorts for me to keep track off both sides of the campaign, as well as the number of GM's I have available. For now, I will put off scheduling a core table until next time when I can discuss the issue with you all more in depth.
In regards to this coming weekend's PFS, I will not be available to assist with running tables as I will be attending the Marmalade Dog convention up in Kalamazoo that weekend. I would be happy to throw out a suggested schedule (below), though I will need some GM's to step up to cover the tables.

Do we have someone to GM either Shades of Ice Part 3 or Storming the Diamond Gate? Since Quest for Perfection is best played in order, I'd like to know if there are going to alternatives since I haven't played QfP 1. I would volunteer, but unfortunately I'm going to be too busy in the next couple of days to prepare adequately.

***Disclaimer***: The Bonekeep scenario has a 5-hour limit, which is a tad bit longer than most of our other scenarios (usually 4). Additionally, the difficulty level/danger of PC death is higher compared to most scenarios/modules. Please keep this in mind when selecting your game for this weekend.

I asked Sean his thoughts on the matter, but he hasn't been able to get back to me yet. I spoke to William, though, and he's planning on running the second part of Plunder and Peril which looks to be for Tier 4-6. I'll bring #1-55 The Infernal Vault for Tier 1-7 for everyone else. Of course, if someone else wants to bring something prepared, that's good too.

Hello all! Looking to plot the schedule for this upcoming weekend at the Griffon. I will NOT be present to help with running tables, as I will at the Bloom&Zoom bike ride on Saturday. I suggest the following scenarios below, though I am certainly open to suggestions if someone has something specific you would like to play. I got a group of 3 people looking to join a Pathfinder game. We were late today (showed up around 11am) and rather than crash the established groups and split our party, we just decided to come back another time.
The 3 of us have been playing various pen & paper RPGs for years, but one of us is always DMing. We are hoping to get involved with the Society games at Griffon, but we really want to roll together for a change. We will be back in 4 weeks (October 3), if you would have us. We're not really picky about classes, and love trying new roles.
**check that... one of us refuses to play an elf. =P
I don't recall the name of the person I spoke with that was heading up the games, but would like to stay in touch.

Hello again!
A while ago I was toying around with the idea of making a Warhorn sign-up for PFS sessions at the Griffon, as it would make my life a lot easier wrangling tables and GM's. Makes it easier for me to determine tiers, and interest in scenarios. I would like for people to give a test run, and get opinions from people tomorrow. I still intend to give notice of scenarios here and on the Paizo page, of course. Let me know if there are questions about how to use the Warhorn.
