[DM Reference] more DM Question

Hi Guys, this is acutally my first campaign as DM and I was wondering what thoose nice 4 things on the last pages are?

Do you use it for Treasure Hunts? Did I miss them in the campaign description?

actually I am preparing some kind of Treasure Maps with thoose items, as booty

Any hints for me?

I really would appreciate it to hear / read your oppinion. :)

If you're referring to the 4 items on inside Back cover, those are provided as additional plot-hooks (or just nautical stories passed around by the crewmembers) for DMs wanting and willing to expand on them themselves. You'll notice they line up nicely with the treasure X's and labels on the inside Front cover.

Awesomely enough, there is a new "Creature" called Ship in a Bottle w/several variants in book 3 that probably works great with the Shipwreck in a Bottle hook.

Personally, I cherry pick through or alter them for sidequests. Some may get used, and others may not. It depends on what ones fit my players' characters.

I am working on a treasure map at the moment, some letters and stuff to provide it as quest / rumor or something like that maybe it will work :)
