Create Demiplane was probably a bad example, but you get the idea. I'm thinking of spells that do not include 'cleric' in the School, like Charm Monster or King's Castle or Magic Jar.
If a cleric were to research such a spell, would it become a divine spell and have all the benefits/drawbacks thereof? For example, would it require a spellbook? Would it have a chance of spell failure? Would it require a divine focus, and if so, would that replace its material components?
Thanks,
Stephen

Duplicate any other spell of 7th level or lower.
Other than that, yeah, GM-approved spell research.
I would think a cleric-researched divine version of a normally-non-divine spell would follow the normal rules for divine spells. So, no spellbook required, no arcane spell failure. As for the divine focus replacing material components -- I'd take that on a case-by-case basis.
Edit: Not sure about something, so removed the assertion.

Hi Folks,
I'm wondering if there is any way for a cleric to cast a 'divine-ized' version of a non-divine spell, like Permanency or Create Demiplane (without using a magic item or multiclassing)?
Thanks,
Stephen
As has been pointed out, Miracle allows you to recreate any level 7 or lower non divine spell. As for being able to recreate ANY Arcane spell in a divine format, the answer is probably no.
Why?
Flavor. If Arcanists could recreate any cleric spell in an arcane version and Divine casters could recreate any arcane spell in a divine version, there would be no reason to even have the classes. You would just need a 'spellcaster' who could do it all.
Be very leary of what spells you allow to be duplicated into another magic 'type' or your divine casters will quickly dominate all your games.
Can you duplicate SOME spells between the two? Sure. There are lots of examples. Should or can you duplicate ALL? No and it would be bad for your game if it was allowed.

There is some heavy precedent for non-divine spells becoming divine spells via Domains. Check those if you really want a divine version. It is, however, rather the realm of spell research (and thus GM fiat) to get spells that normally aren't on your list. Ask your GM. If you are the GM, then do it, but be careful the implications.

Pathfinder Savant prestige class adds things to your class list at 1 level higher.
If you only need a level 0 spell, Cracked Orange Prism.
If you are Oracle, there is Improved Eldritch Heritage: Arcane
If it is divine on anyone's list, the ARG's new alternate race ability for Samsaran grabs it for you.

What really determines if a spell is arcane or divine is the class of the spellcaster, so if you're a cleric and you research a spell it will follow all the rules that clerical casting works under (e.g. no arcane spell failure). You may need to include a divine focus component when you do your research, but that's in the realm of GM fiat.
