I'm looking for the aasimar boon if anyone is willing to trade. None of my boons are races, but I have:

Expedition Manager
Explorer's Endurance
Factor
Family Tradition x2
Magaambyan Dilettante
Niche Specialist
Xenophobia

Willing to trade what ever it takes!

The boon trading thread is thataway.

Yeah, I posted in there too. Figured both threads have Boon Trade in the title so why not try both. Thanks anyways.

was hoping someone could help me with a problem i am having. I read up on the Archives of Nethys, that a player needs a boon to open the skinwalker as a playable race, but was told that if a player has a paizo player companion, that whats in it can be used, if that is so, if buying the companion blood of the moon, would that mean i could use the skinwalker without having the boon?

The Boon unlocks the race, but you still need to own the source that you're using.

Same is true whether it's a Human (from the CRB), Tiefling (ARG), Skinwalker (BotM), or whatever.

You need both.

Thank you both, I was hoping to find out before I paid money for the book. Now I just need the boon

Well, the key to unlocking that is to GM for a venue that is in the Regional Support Program. The current boon reward for 12 games GMed is a skinwalker boon!

Hmm

We all had to start somewhere. Some of us got an earlier start, that's all.

You could talk to your local venture officer, ask him if he can help you - suggest a scenario that's easy to run, maybe he can discuss preparation with you. Afterwards, discuss how it went, figure out what you liked and what you want to go differently.

In the beginning, most GMs are intimidated by others who seem to know more and be better at it. I've seen a lot of people learn to be good GMs, in many different ways. There's no "one" GMing style that's the best; part of becoming a good GM is finding out what things you have a talent for. It might be something entirely different than your big example.
