It didn't change really, it's still SR: YES.

Does anyone have that spell stated out for pathfinder? I only have it for 3.5

Here you go.

That is not a real spell. It is a parody of black tentacles.

Spiked Tentacles of Forced Intrusion

Conjuration (Creation)
Level: Sor/Wiz 4
Components: V, S, M
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Area: 1 target creature
Duration: 1 round/level (D)
Saving Throw: Special
Spell Resistance: No

This spell conjures a mass of rubbery spiked tentacles, each 10 feet long. These waving members seem to spring forth from the earth, floor, or whatever surface is underfoot—including water. They grasp and entwine around the creature, holding it fast and forcibly entering any orifice with great strength.

The target creature must make a grapple check, opposed by the grapple check of the tentacles. Treat the tentacles as a Large creature with a base attack bonus equal to your caster level and a Strength score of 19. Thus, its grapple check modifier is equal to your caster level +8. The tentacles are immune to all types of damage.

Once the tentacles grapple an opponent, they may make a grapple check each round on your turn to deal 1d6+4 points of piercing damage. The tentacles continue to violate the opponent until the spell ends or the opponent escapes.

In addition, the target of the spell must succeed at a Will saving throw check or be panicked for the duration of the spell.

Any creature with an intelligence score that witnesses spiked tentacles of forced intrusion actually succeed at doing damage to a target for the first time must make a successful Fortitude check or become nauseated for 1d6 rounds. The caster, and anyone who has witnessed the spell do damage to a target at least once before, is immune to this effect.

Material Components
A piece of tentacle from a giant octopus or a giant squid and the musk gland of a porcupine.

It exists, I'm just wondering if it's been converted to pathfinder

Replace grapple check with CMB roll using caster's CL, Intelligence bonus and +1 size bonus against the target's CMD. I would give it ability to grapple and pin the target with the constrict ability (i.e. dealing damage on each successful grapple check). Some reworking about its morale effects on the target and viewers, however. Panicked condition together with grapple/pin would be too much as it would prevented escaping. And nauseate is not appropriate condition to be bestowed by merely viewing it - I would rather treat made the viewers shaken on a failed saving throw.

No it is not in PF because it was never a 3.5 spell. When I said it did not exist I was saying it is not an official 3.5 spell. Someone(a fan) may have made their own version however after seeing the comic.

It seems the spell is slightly stronger the black tentacles, but not so much more that it deserves a level increase. I would make it strong enough to warrant a level increase. Otherwise black tentacles just got stepped on.

Drejk's idea is better by saying the viewing of it should cause the shaken condition since that makes more sense. I would also make it into a will save.

He smacked his lips loudly as he sat his tankard of ale back down on the bar.

"Well... Ye can guess what 'appened next."

Fixed it for ya!

This made me laugh. You always enjoy SR until you're the only one left standing against an impending horde.

Dark Archive

I love SR. It's such a trap. And it's such a nerf if I want to nerf myself. SR is especially terrible with evil creatures because there's not going to be much channeling of positive energy.
