We're pleased announce that PaizoCon attendees who subscribe to our products can opt to pick up Paizo's July releases in person at PaizoCon!
- The following products may be picked up at the show:
- Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscription: #58: Island of Empty Eyes (Skull & Shackles 4 of 6) and #59: The Price of Infamy (Skull & Shackles 5 of 6)
- Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Subscription: Player Character Folio
- Pathfinder Campaign Setting Subscription: Magnimar, City of Monuments
- Pathfinder Player Companion Subscription: Blood of Angels
- GameMastery Map Pack Subscription: GameMastery Flip-Mat: Deep Forest
Subscribers who have preordered the Rise of the Runelords Anniversary Edition hardcover and opted to ship it with their subscriptions will also be able to pick up that book at the show.
Just visit your My Subscriptions page before 11 AM Pacific Time on Tuesday, June 26, and select "Yes, I'll pick up my subscription products at PaizoCon 2012." Shortly before the show, we'll charge your credit card and, where appropriate, give you access to the corresponding PDF. (This will happen at the same time as subscribers who aren't picking up at PaizoCon—your PDFs won't be delayed by choosing to pick up at PaizoCon.) For convention pickup, 9.5% sales tax will be added to your order—but you won't pay any shipping fees.
Note that we can't offer pickup of other items in your sidecart—by default, they'll remain in your sidecart until the next subscription shipment, though you can visit your My Account page at any time to request that we ship your sidecart sooner!
If you don't have any Paizo subscriptions, there's still time! Visit the Subscribe Today page to learn more about the subscriptions we offer.
Of course, all of the products listed above—and many other popular items—will be available for purchase at the show as well.
(We'll also be offering a subscription pickup option for Gen Con Indy in August—look for details to be announced after PaizoCon!)
We're looking forward to seeing you at the show!

Should be interesting how the minis will be stored for the PF Battles subscribers. It's one thing bringing subscriptions for books, but when each subscriber gets two cases and the premium, that takes up a bit more room!
Gen Con Subscription pickup will not include Pathfinder Battles Subs, for the reason that you describe as well as others.

Aw shoot. :( Should have figured as much. Oh well.
May I ask what the other reasons are?
In addition to taking up precious space on the con floor, it would probably require us to ship another entire pallet of goods to the show—expensive!
Perhaps most importantly, though, if we included Battles by default in the sub pickup lists, that would present a problem (and probably additional costs) for anybody who's flying to the show... and adding controls to let everyone opt in or out of picking up Battles while still picking up other sub products increeases complexity (which adds confusion) and requires additional programmer time and adds new possibilities for mistakes.

All very good points, Vic. Thanks for answering. :)
Any idea yet when the subscriptions will ship? Will it be before Gen Con, or afterwards?
As I many of you already know, nothing regarding ship dates is final until stuff hits our warehouse, but we hope to ship the week prior to Gen Con so that most people will get their stuff right around the same time as the con begins.

Does that apply for PaizoCon, as well? That is, for those of us who won't be there to pick up our stuff in person, do you expect to ship/allow access to PDFs before or after? (Dying to get my eyeballs on the Magnimar book.)
The PaizoCon shipment will likely begin to go out the week *after* PaizoCon.

Remember that WizKids sets the release date on the minis, and it may or may not be the same as the Paizo August subscription releases....

I just realized that my subscriptions didn't change to allow me to select to pick them up at Paizocon, or maybe I just missed where to click. It does, however, still stay it may be picked up at Paizocon. Is it too late to arrange that?
And slightly off topic, but if I want to get some maps for the PFS scenarios I'm running for you at the Con, can I order them online and arrange to pick them up at the Con as well?

Hey Grolick,
I've set your subscription items for July to be picked up at Paizocon. While it was too late for you to set it manually, I was able to make the change for you. Any items set to your sidecart (with the exception of the RotRL Hardcover) are unavailable for pickup at the convention, however we will have a retail storefront set up at the convention with most of our products available for purchase. With that being said, you should be able to buy the maps directly at the convention!
Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks, Erik. I'll stop by early so I can have the ones I need for the 1 pm Goblinwood Dead scenario I'm running. I thought I had some of those, but was surprised to find I don't! Ooops! Oh well, I love maps....
