Pathfinder WiiU?

Video Games

So I've been watching E3, and Nintendo has been showing off the WiiU, their new console they have coming out that makes use of tablets that can be used in conjunction with their games. On some, it works like an inventory system in RPGs, which is pretty cool. Then I heard it was going to have 5-way Multiplayer, and the wheels started turning.

Could Pathfinder be brought to the Wii? Think on it for a sec, you use one tablet for the GM, and then each player has their character sheet on their own tablet, and boom! you have a standard 4-person adventuring party ready to roll. It could be a pre-fab adventure, or even include adventure building tools for the GM to use. The GM, of course, would play the monsters and such against the party, moving them appropriately as needed. I just think the idea could open up a whole new avenue of play, especially for PF enthusiasts who don't have a local gaming group.

There are probably with money and effort you could work on a number of platforms that could be adapted for PF I think that in the future when the prices on touch screens and or motion cap comes down they will replace the drawn battle map.

Couldn't I also do this on the Nintendo 3DS/DS/DSi? Also, not sure how people feel about it, but PCs can do this with ease (They even did it in Neverwinter Nights. Heck, there was options for LAN Play.)

NWN was not just the map though it was relatively real time, and the rolling was behind the screen. I think that dice might not be going anywere but a battle mat that can look amazing, reveal as you go and hide as the pcs move on that can be changed on the fly as a dm or a player I think is awesome. But I like cheap. So when I watch players with that kind of system now I think that money could be better spent . . . like a second car.

...Pathfinder game on WiiU.

Yeah, most likely not gonna happen.

Just play it on roll20.net now. Same results, and you don't have to buy that horribly underpowered system.

Nevermind the fact that the wiiU won't support 5 tablet controllers. Two controllers when supported already bring the frame rate down to 30fps.

I had no idea this site existed until today. I ran an impromptu game on roll20.net to test it out and it worked a treat. Thank you so much!
