Hey gang!

I've apparently lost my mind a bit as I'm already planning Nuke-Con 2012. I even have a preliminary schedule done.

The question I have for any of you is this:

How do I get you to come?

I'm willing to bend pretty far to get you in those doors for some Pathfinder, now what do I have to do to make it happen?

4/5 ****

I made the trek out last year and had fun and will try and do so again this year.

The thing that would be most helpful for me would be the ability to bribe somebody with some meals in exchange for a place to stay.

5/5

I can probably make it for saturday... depending on school requirements ... clint .. what's on the tentative schedule?

Basically it's mods from PaizoCon and GenCon with a few of the new ones to come out in between.

I'd love to run Race for the Runecarved Key, if I can get enough players :)

Grand Lodge 5/5

I'll be there! Will you have cakes? How about candies? Oh, oh, will there be books?! Please bring some books!

4/5 ****

I might bake some cookies, time permitting

Grand Lodge 5/5

I'll spread the word around KC!
If I can get away from "real life", I'll try to be there.

Dark Archive

What is the hotel situation gonna be like? Anyplace that you recommend? If I can find a reasonably cheap hotel room and drag some folks up with me, I will do so.

4/5 ****

Runecarved Key would be exciting, so the other bay area folks don't get to make fun of me forever for not having played it.

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/5

Hey gang,

Omaha area hotels tend to be on the cheaper side and there are several within fairly easy distance to the Convention Center.

I'm definitely planning on Race for the RuneCarved Key there with a special guest Overseer Judge, Thea! (This should be interesting).

Pirate Rob, If you're willing to get me to and from the convention center each night/morning, I can probably let you crash on my couch.

Schedule has Beginner Box Demos and Scenarios from PaizoCon forward including the September Scenarios. Chris Mortika has offered to run a Modeule on Sunday morning (This was a lot of fun last year). If there's something someone wants that isn't in that list, arrangements can be made.

stands before you with her left paw on the CRB and the right up in the air

I, PFCBG, do so solemnly swear by the goodness that is the realm of Pathfinder to not make all characters sound like a gnome

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/5

Hehehe

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/5

Schedule has been submitted. Anyone wanting to see it can email me for a copy.

4/5 ****

I was about to come bug you about this :) Schedule would be nice so I can figure out what to judge.

Also I ended up with a hotel room that will likely be filled by fluffy purple goodness.

5/5

[I] sprinkles purple fluffy goodness into this [i]

Hmmmm, I wonder if I could find a key shaped cookie cutter and at least make cookie keys. Also what are we running after Thea finishes the Special in 75 minutes?

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/5

Email me Rob, I'm hopiong to get things settled this weekend, so changing your schedule now is fine.

4/5 ****

Will do, you can thank BlazeJ for running 4-03 that I can now GM without spoiling it for myself.

4/5 ****

Email sent, I've now upgraded my volunteering to 2.5 slots :)

5/5

Good news: there will be special treats for those GMing at least 2 slots.

And to any lurkers out there, there will also be shiny things for those who come out to try PFS for the first time.

4/5 ****

Yay special treats! Will they be full of chocolatey goodness?

5/5

mmmm treats for da bunny

wiggles nose in anticipation

5/5

Bump

4 days hehehehehehehehe (thought I won't be there until Sat morning; silly work)

4/5 ****

I hope you had fun out at Fields of Honor Mike, looking forward to seeing you again soon.

4/5 ****

Just to double check slot times:

Friday
7:30PM

Saturday
9AM
1:30PM
7:30PM

Sunday
9AM
1:30PM

Is this right?

5/5

Yup, that looks right. I look forward to seeing you there. I'm not sure yet, but I may end up doing 4-05 Saturday morning (that or 4-02).

I then plan to pester Thea on Saturday afternoon for 4-01 if I can squeeze myself and a friend onto the table. I've already run this at GenCon, but knowing the scenario just makes my expectations higher. I expect full-on goblin ridiculousness - you hear that?

OOoooooo that means I should read it again huh? lol

4/5 ****

I plan on killing a table full of characters Friday night with Golemwork's and harvesting their sweet tears (4-03) followed by judging Santos Abduction (4-05) Saturday morning.

Saturday afternoon I'm hoping to play 4-06 followed by Racing for the RuneCarved Key in the evening and then playing a module Sunday morning.

I think last year I presigned up for the adventures I wanted to play but I was the only one to do so, so I didn't bother this year.

5/5

bounces around spewing glitter all over

yayyyy con weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/5

Huzzah. My last con being the main Organizer for this one as well :) My last con as a VC though they alreadyy took my forum title (meanies) :P

5/5

I ate your title. Sorry, but it was mighty tasty.

muuuuurp

4/5 ****

Grats on your promotion.

/me ponders who best to try and bribe.

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/5

If it's to get a good table at this con, it's me. If it's to get a good table at future Omaha area cons, it's Mike.

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/5

Thanks to everyone who came. We had a really good con.

17/20 tables made, thats 4 more tables than last year.

12 New PFS Numbers given

35 Individual PFS Numbers used

We had a few problem people at times but no big problems with anything else, always a good thing.

This was a good way to go out as my last official event as a VC.

5/5

Indeed, thank you to everyone who came out. It was good to meet new folks and see some of the people I only see at conventions. Thanks to you as well Clint for putting together the most successful con for PFS in Omaha yet. I can say for my part that I had fun at every table, especially "The Most Powerful Party in All of Magnimar, sponsored by the temple of Abadar TM."

4/5 ****

Yarrr.

Here's my brief overview of good times:

Very minor spoilers present but nothing too specific:

Spoiler:

Friday Night: I GM Golemworks. I have 2 characters in the line of fire, one is unconscious but stable, the other is at 0. The conscious one bull rushes the unconscious one to safety and falls to -1 before being killed.

Saturday Morning: I GM Sanos Abduction. I have a 4 player table, including 2 brand new players playing Ezrin and Kyra. They are both reasonably effective and a good time is had by all but I wear out my voice a bit between a super talky gnome and a faerie dragon.

Saturday Afternoon: I play the Green Market where we break the scenario, but the GM does a good job of circling us back in the right direction.

Saturday Evening: Mike Lindner tries to kill Farak, the Most Powerful Mage in Absalom, a difficult task he learned. (Surprising and winning initiative and rolling a crit with a greater shadow is not enough!)

Sunday: I play from Shore to Sea with a 4 player casual group and we get the snot kicked out of us for awhile before we flee and cut our losses.

The Exchange 5/5 RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16

The "From Shore to Sea" group was actually doing pretty well against the early encounters, Pirate Rob. Once the party of 5th and 6th-level PCs moved into the areas that presumed a party of 7th-level characters, things went south.

5/5

It was a fun and interesting con and HOLY CRAP that's a long boring drive!!!

The special was fun and interesting. And I'd like it noted that not even I can speed up the special
