Magus / Gunslinger Prestige Class?

Rules Questions

Sovereign Court

Hi

Been seeing some Magus/Gunslinger mixes recently, but can't see how they use Spell Combat & Spell Strike?

Spell Combat

"....must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components) while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand".

Spellstrike

"...he can deliver the spell through any weapon he is wielding as part of a melee attack".

According to that he can't use either ability through his guns. Is there a feat/ability/prestige class that allows him to use them with a fierarm?

Thanks
Paul H

Would the Matriarch work with a few levels of gunslinger?

Sovereign Court

Hi

Myrmidarch allows you to do Spellstrike with a ranged spell through a ranged weapon, but loses any extra attacks against multiple targets. Only one target can be affected this way.

But I'm sure player was using Spell Combat to casts spells too. (Think it was Shocking Grasp).

Thanks
Paul H
