our GM is running age of worms, he's converting it. I'm playing the arcane trickster... how important is trap spotting gonna be for those of you that have played it?

I wanna make this clear, since I dont think I did. I'm not asking for anyone to reveal anything, I'm just worried of using a rogue talent on something i wont use. I did this in shackled city, and ended up using it for the first few adventures, and then hardly ever after that and it felt wasted. If it's useful throughout, i'm all for it, just looking for a heads up. Thanks!
