How much time passes between a Scenario? Attemping to age character

I've been doing an adhoc adding +1 year to my character's age for every 12 scenarios.

I just add one year to all my characters' ages each January 1st. To make things even simpler, most of my characters are currently 22, 32, 42, etc.

One year in our time has been one year in game time

My characters' ages are usually adjusted at a roughly 1 scenario = 1 month ratio, but I don't keep up with it overly much. The real-time aging has its merit, now that I think of it.

Considering that the campaign allows you to play scenarios in reverse chronological order...

Wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey.

You mean you don't all calculate the time it takes your characters to get from Absalom to, say, the Land of the Linnorm Kings and back? No wonder everyone looks at my 73 year old cleric funny. :D

Silver Crusade ***

I did kinda wonder how long the trip from Absalom to Tian Xia took when we went there for Red Harvest.

Which makes perfect sense in a game where you routinely travel by map.

I added a year to my characters age in the middle of The Haunting of Hinojai for that reason.

In Red Harvest you start out in Goka, so your could have adventured your way there there, or even teleported, depending on what tier you are in.

The Exchange ****

LOL! different characters age differently...

My wife runs a Cleric that has been 5 months pregnant for ... she's level 5 now, so I guess it's 12+ scenarios. But she's an Aasimar, so who knows how long they would be pregnant.

I like BNW answer to this one - "you age at the speed of plot"...

By the time she finally gives birth, that baby's going to come out of the womb at level 4. ;-)

Keep in mind that he/she has an aura of charm person, and the save DC is CHA-based.

(LOL.... ok, you guys have me falling out of my chair. everyone at work knows I'm not working now...)
Thank you all so much. I really needed that laugh.

ah... realizing that babies can cast stinking cloud at will, usually when you are out to eat at a fancy restraunt (one with tables and chairs).

Not to mention dominate person and wail of the banshee.

My general take on aging of characters in PFS play is that some major mission comes up each season (of the year)... so every four scenarios equals one year. After 27 scenarios, i.e. level 10, you have aged 6.5 years.

Very true, but unless the baby shares a language with the target, the spell doesnt do anything beyond making you friendly toward it.

Other options:
1)The aura wont affect targets outside it (aura is probably like 50ft and line of sight, lol).
2) Just wait for it to cry. That ought to give you a new saving throw every round. :P
