Player race similar to a fire elemental? Also adventure advice needed.

Advice

One of my players had a mishap that has caused him to turn undead against his will. Once he found out about this, he was given 3 options: embrace being an undead, open his fire elemental bloodline, or repair/purify his body to go back to his origional race. He has chosen to go the fire elemental rout, now I need to find a race that embraces this. So far the closest thing I've found is Ifrit, while Im sure that this will work for him I'm wondering if there is a better option.

Next I'm looking for advice on a quest line for him to complete to become this new race. He will have 3-4 players joining him on this quest and they are about level 10. I was thinking travel to the plane of fire, but what should they do once they get there...

Ifrit are the closest to the fire elementals, and Suli can do in a pinch.

Qadira

I believe there is a Race in the Qadira book, i think it was a Suli, but not 100% on that.

If it is a dwarf I'd say that Azer is fitting too.. half-dragon of a fiery kind works too, a fire infused template works well too.

Suli are on the right track, but Im looking for something more tilted towards fire elemental. I guess I kind of want to turn him into human torch.

Second this, it really only works if the PC is a dwarf though, hair and fingernails made of living fire, as close as I imagine getting to your torch idea without elemental body.

Definitely Ifrit then.

Heck, one of their abilities is:

Quote:
Elemental Affinity: Ifrit sorcerers with the elemental (fire) bloodline treat their Charisma score as 2 points higher for all sorcerer spells and class abilities.

Go ifrit if you do not want to make the player stronger really, otherwise Azer or Fire-Infused.

What do you mean by Fire-infused?

Cheliax

This link should clear that up for you. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates/element-infused -creature

That's interesting, may steal a few of those abilities. Fire walk and fire healing seem very viable for what he is wanting to do.

That might be the best thing really, having something to build on and adjust it into a workable template.
