Concerning Annie, I always figured Tibbers to be a Summoned Fire Elemental re skinned to look like a bear.

How about Annie as a Summoner?

Annie as a Pyrokineticist sounds more appropriate, while Tibbers looks more like a Soulbound Doll that can become Large.

Yes, I've returned, but kinda put that project on the backburner, because Paizo keeps releasing new materials that can drastically change my original builds, like Occult Adventures :P

Here's something: the Unchained Variant Multiclassing rule can ALSO change everything.

Another example: do you make Quinn a ranger or a hunter, as both have an animal companion?

So yeah, this has become a little hard to follow both Riot's champion release schedule and Paizo's book release schedule XD

Still, this topic has been made to help people build their favorite champions and I hope that it helps players for the future ^_^

Less talk and more Stats guys.

Dark Archive

I actually haven't gotten my hands on occult adventures yet. But a Pyrokineticist would probably be appropriate.

Still working on a completely canon version of Varus. I can't say I like Slaying arrows as Blighted Quiver at all.

Dark Archive

Been bouncing around a way to play as Quinn & Valor in PFS for a while now, and my rough draft involves leveling as druid until you can Wild Shape into a bird' rocking weapon finesse and an Agile amulet of mughty fists. Then five levels of the crossbow Gunslinger archetype for dex to damage, along with boon companion to keep Valor up to date.

Toying with Vayne. Scout rogue, same Slinger style as Quinn, hellcat stealth and the vital strike chain.

Kindred is a Hunter... Good luck finding a way to have 1) a sheep humanoid and 2) a Phantom-like companion though.

Does Occult Origins have something to swap an animal companion for a phantom or to give a companion the Spiritualist's Phantom abilities?

As for the sheep humanoid... ask Epic Meepo about that :P He made several animal-based races, including sheeps and rams.

Ekko... looks like a Time Oracle, like Zilean could be.

Kalista... looks like an undead Slayer.

Quinn... is more of a Hunter, because Valor is more of a key factor.

Yasuo is a samurai (Ronin order)

Vel'koz... no idea for a race, but a Vivisectionist sounds accurate.

Braum is a Stalward Defender.

Gnar... would be a Primitive (Advanced Bestiary) Gnome (I keep referring Yordles with Gnome stats), but he would need a Barbarian archetype that let him change size...

Azir... is either a Desert-themed Druid or Oracle (I believe that both have desert/sand-related archetypes)

Rek'sai is a monster, not a PC.

Bard... no idea, but Loremaster??? I dunno...

Tahm Kench... no idea either... I believe that there is a rogue or bard archetype related to being a complete charlatan/con artist/deceiver, mostly because he plays with words. I have no idea how to mimic his swallong abilities though :S

Sion has been changed, but a Zombie barbarian would work. I think that there is a Zombie template that keeps the base creature's mental stats.

We've got Vi to think about now too... Monk is the obvious choice, but in terms of personality she does not seem lawful enough to be a monk.

If Vi's a monk she's definitely gotta be a martial artist, since they can be of nonlawful alignment. I think she would probably serve best as a fighter of some sort though.

On an older champion, we currently have Nidalee as an elven (Lion Shaman) Druid. Would she not work quite well as a Human (Feral Child) Druid? Feral Child is quite literally the 'raised by animals' archetype after all.

I had in mind that VI would be a martial artist as well, and I agree with you on Nidalee.

Thresh is... weird... A skeletal champion Bones oracle with a kusari-gama?

Ultimate Campaign has rules for Young Characters... I couldn't help but think:

"Have you seen my bear Tibbers?"

Add a soulbound doll that can grow in size, and you're set :)

I'm still undecided on making Annie a sorcerer/wizard specialized in Fire magic or a Fire oracle.

What about the Kinesist class from Occult Adventures? Fire Element - Pyrokinetcists

(Q) Fire blast
(W) Fan of flames
(E) Flame Shield
(R) Spark of life

Kindred anyone?

Like I stated, Kindred is a Hunter... or a Ranger/Nature Warden, come to think of it, but you'll have to go 3rd-party for a sheep humanoid... and find whatever alternate class feature to turn your animal companion into a phantom.

Would Kindred function in concept as a Summoner?

Dark Archive

Shall we begin with our new OP, no skill required champion Illaoi?

I was thinking Dark Tapestry oracle, or Cleric of an outer god.

With all decent physical scores, human and some magic, some fighting power, I'd go Talon or Kat.

Thank you. And a champion for jungle doesn't have to be human

Hello everyone, I want to know the classes to be used to recreate diana in pathfinder. thanks a lot to everyone

RPG Superstar 2012 Top 16

I'd make Diana an anti-Saranrae priestess, with a N alignment and moon-related powers related to ball lightning and using a scimitar just like Saranrae's priestess' do.

Note that she's a follower of the moon and moonlight, NOT darkness. IF she was in the Realms, she'd be a N cleric of Elistraee for sure.

www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=473056 --> VAYNE

Illaoi: Hmmm... Gillwoman Cleric (Herald Caller); kudos if you can replicate the tentacles :P

Jhin: Android Gunsligner (Musket Musker); pretty straightforward

Aurelion Sol: Taninim Dragon Oracle (Heavens mystery)
- The Taninim Dragon is a race presented by Rite Publishing; In the Company of Dragons

Wow, I'm legitimately impressed by how long you guys have been doing this...

i came here looking for a way to build Irelia (being the Champion I main) and i'll post my ideas here and hope you guys can help me, I started playing recently and this thread has been really helping me learn how to make characters.

1) Riot games isn't close to stop releasing champions :P

2) Paizo themselves will continue releasing materials, and some future stuff will FINALLY work a lot with what me or the other people came up for ideas.

3) I admit, it's because of this that I stopped "stating" the champions. There are a lot of options to make a champion, so... I'm just going to highlight the basics and then you guys can pick it up from there. A good example is Annie: I described her as a sorcerer with the elemental (fire) bloodline... and then the Kineticist was released... Guess which one is the closest and easiest to the character :P

Silver Crusade

Cr500cricket wrote:

Kindred anyone?

Human (as the picture), unchained summoner (Spirit Summoner)

Now you have your wolf(Eidolon Psychopomp Serpentine).
With the archetype(chose battle spirit), you get some cool buffs for your party and your eidolon and lose the summon monster stuff.

Grab the trait heirloom weapon to know how to use a Longbow, grab point blank shot and precise shot and you pretty much complete.

Wolf need level 2 to grab Flight evolution, but thats pretty much all you need to complete the look.

You just need to convince your DM to allow you to use the True Spirit power on your eidolon instead.

Silver Crusade

With the new classes, I would like to add some considerations that i noted that can be done now:

Kindred

Spoiler:

Race: Human
Class: Unchained Summoner (Spirit Summoner Archetype)
Eidolon is some sort of death psychopomp flying wolf without limbs and reach(serpentine form with fly and large size can do quite well the job)
Not much here, you can grab Battle Spirit from your archetype to do some cool things. Get Heirloom Weapon(Thornbow or Longbow) for weapon proficiency and you got yourself Kindred. Skills can be reproduced via Rapid Shot or Manyshot and a good score on Acrobatics.

Shyvana

Spoiler:

Race: Human(or tiefling for extra visual)
Class: Bloodrager with red draconic bloodline.
You're pretty much set. With the bloodrager spells you can easily imitate most of the fire abilities. And you also can transform yourself in a dragon on later levels when bloodraging.

Veigar

Spoiler:

Race: Tiefling(sidebar non-human tiefling small race)
Class: Arcanist (probably School Savant, but non-archetype work quite well)
With all the arcanist exploits for damage, you can find something to fit the theme of veigar, like Force Strike. Veigar is one of the most powerfull AP caster LoL has, and Arcanist can do the job quite well with Metamixing and (Greater) Metamagic Exploit.

Taliyah, the Stoneweaver: Geokineticist... and you're set :P

Or you could make a custom race. The advanced race guide has been out for a while longer than kindred has.

Kled, the Cantankerous Cavalier: Hmmm... Hunter with a Troodon animal companion, with a firearm.

Dark Archive

Or Beast Rider Cavalier

Would Ashe be better suited at a Myrmidarch or an Eldritch Archer? I think Ashe really isn't all about magic arrows and more just imbued frost arrows and is built more physically. Just curious

I built Ashe as pure zen archer monk, personally. Haven't done all the champs yet, (or even a majority of them), but I'm statting them each around 15-20th level. Ashe, I did at 17.

Dotting... and will post the Trundle my buddy and I made later. (He is a CR 15 enemy, and definitely not playable >_>)

Ivern, the Green Father has been revealed, and... hmmm...

For a playable character, you can go for Alluria's Oakling, or you can go for the Ghoran, and yes, they can look like treants, so you're good ^_^

For the class, I'm going to get grilled for this, but... a Phytokinecist (Kineticist [wood]) could work. Yeah, yeah, the element itself is underdevelopped, but N. Jolly's guides did expand it properly.

Ok, for its Ultimate, which is summoning a stone golem, beats me how to replicate this :P

I've been messing with the Tristana build, but there are a few things that don't seem to work. The culverin is apparently only able to fire as a scatter weapon, which means the Dead Shot deed can't apply. Also as a scatter weapon, I don't know that the Far Shot feat can be applied, and Rapid Shot may not work without a support of some kind, since firing the thing knocks you prone.

Also, any ideas for Poppy's reworked ult?

*I don't seem to be able to edit my last post, so sorry for the double post.

This is what I have for Poppy's rework so far:

Spoiler:
Race and class are the same, Gnome Fighter (Armor Master), now with a medium Warhammer and a light quickdraw throwing shield.
(P) Iron Ambassador: This would be the throwing shield, though you won't get the shield bonus since you'd be wielding a two-handed weapon.
(Q) Hammer Shock: This is really just Power attack, same as the first build. Though you could see about trading the first level of Armor Training for Two-Handed Fighter's Overhand Chop.
(W) Steadfast Presence: Nothing I'm aware of fits the passive, but the active can be Combat Reflexes.
(E) Heroic Charge: This is the Shield Slam feat chain again, though using it alongside a two-handed weapon will probably get messy.
(R) Keeper's Verdict: No clue really, but a bull rush with your hammer would suffice.

Sovereign Court

I've been looking at Gunslinger 1/Alchemist X for Graves. And possibly rogue 2 (underground Chemist) for the ability to quick draw alchemical items.

Specifically, to use explosive missile on a strafe bomb for End Of The Line.
Explosive Missile + Explosive Bomb + Conductive enchantment (breath weapon bomb or directed blast bomb/explosive) for Collateral Damage.
Smoke Bomb for Smoke Screen or QuickDraw on Smoke Stick.
Scatter weapon of course, but I like gun scavenger to add the scatter quality to a double barreled pistol/pepperbox. The increased misfire and the change out deed kinda reflects Graves' need to reload as a serious action.

The Quick Draw LoL ability is a more difficult, but I was thinking the spell knowledge discovery to add bladed dash, but unfortunately it isn't a wizard spell. Something like escaping ward would work, but feels clunky.

Track on the grenadier alchemist archetype for additional damage (quick draw alchemist acid/fire) to add to the pistol to make up for the loss in bomb damage from the 2 rogue levels.

Just for fun, I home brewed Tristana's Boomer:

Boomer

Spoiler:
Boomer
Two-handed firearm
Damage Type: B/P
Misfire: 1
Capacity: 1
Cost: 4,000
Weight: 40 lbs

The Boomer is a unique weapon, built with the frame of a pistol two size categories larger than its wielder with an enlarged barrel. It's unique overhand design, however, makes it an appropriately sized two-handed weapon. It has a special reloading crank, which reduces reload times by one step when using alchemical cartridges, but otherwise uses 4 doses of black powder and a bullet, and takes a full round action to reload. The Boomer fires a bullet at a 30ft range increment and deals 2d6 points of damage.

Special- Rocket Jump: When loaded, grants a +4 bonus to Acrobatics checks. If used this way, loaded ammo is wasted and Boomer must be reloaded.
Special- Buster Shot: Up to 3/day, you can load a cannonball and 10 doses of black power into Boomer as a full round action. On your next turn, you can fire at a -5 penalty and deal 6d6 damage to a single target. Doing so knocks you prone. This ability cannot crit or be affected by deeds or extra damage dice, however it is always treated as having the Impact Critical Shot feat.

Yes, I realize this is rather dorky and probably broken. Also, damage dice are numbered with Small as the default size category, as opposed to Medium.

*Raises dead* XD

Camille the Steel Shadow

Hmmm... I would go with an android brawler with blade boots (which are close weapons) and a pair of flying talons for the grappling hooks.

Rakan the Charmer

Male Strix Bard, wielding daggers.

Xayah the Rebel

Female Strix Ninja, wielding daggers as well... or feather-shaped shurikens

Rakan I feel would make a good cloakfighter Bard. Lot of utility, but he'd lose his spellcasting capability, which would be fine I think. If you combined that with Flowing Creek style from an expanded book, he'd be right on the money.

Xayah would be better suited as a Farsight Monk doing flurry of daggers throwing attacks. Some monk powers would suit her kit well.

I'm curious to see what people would think Kayn should be.

Silver Crusade

Fettclub wrote:

Probably a Tiefling(pass for human) Kensai Bladebound Magus.

What about Kayn, the Shadow Reaper?

*casts raise thread*

new champions abound.. convert, my feloow gamers!

Anyone have an idea on Ornn and what he'd be?

For those wondering, I feel like with the end of P1E, many champions could be revisited with all the new archetypes and classes.

For instance, Ahri can now be Kitsune Sorcerer with the Nine-Tailed Heir archetype :)

Vi is definitely a brawler

Pyke has ghoulish creature simple template from monster codex or horror adventures. definitely fighter archetype from aquatic adventures.
