What Mike stated id not fully incorrect.
The Player who played part 1 and 2 of a 7-11 tier scenario if he wanted the credit right away would have to put it towards 2 separate brand new PCs.
Or he could Hold of the second part chronicle until that PC that got part 1 credit reaches level 7 and add the credit then.

This. Sorry for the confusion. You can assign the Chronicles to two brand new characters. Or, You could play with two separate pre-gens and hold the credit until a normal character reached 7th level and award both to that character. That's what I get for posting right after my workout..... Thanks for clarifying Dragnmoon.

Seth/Mike - I thought the rule was different for the 1st level pregens. After the 1st part of First Steps the player could change the name of the pregen to say Fred and use it for the other parts. Then they would have a 2nd level character at the end of all the parts of First Steps?
The Rats of Round Mountain is different because its as I understand it, a consecutive 2 part module for levels 7-11 that's supposed to be played back to back. My understand of the rules for pregens is that only a 1st level pre-gen can be "tweaked" into a new character.
I was just asking cause at a convention my friend and I are attending it looks like we might play Rats of Round Mountain and he's new to PFS. First Steps is scheduled but I was hoping we could play together and I don't feel like making a new PC. I have nine :)

Those are the old Pregen rules... You my friend need to read the guide again, Things have changed, and not just with Pregens.
