Cyphermage prestige class question

I am considering making a cyphermage (Inner Sea Magic) as a new character. The additonal resource page says that the class is legal to play, but to switch the scribe scroll requirement for any spell focus feat. It also has the cypher magic feat (Inner Sea World Guide) as a requirement as well. However, the additonal resource page says that that feat is not society legal.

So I'm confused. Do I have to take the feat and not gain any of the benefits or is the feat no longer a requirement for the class?

I admit to being curious about this as well.

This has been addressed before. Cypher Magic is allowed, switching Spell Focus for Scribe Scroll as a prerequisite.

If you look at the OP dates, this thread was started first. I just never got a response, lol.

Huh. I wonder why this was bumped, then. Anyone searching for the question should have found the other threads first...

When I searched for a thread that had 'Cyphermage' this was the only one that stood out asking the question.

My google-fu is weak.

I know, right? Weird.
