I wanted to take a minute to welcome aboard the new Venture-Captain assigned to South Africa. I will let Jerall Toi introduce himself, advise about the websites he will utilize for coordinating, and any other information he wishes to share.
As for areas that fall within his region, these include Cape Town, Durban, and the Gauteng Province (to include Johannesburg and Pretoria) for the time being, as well as any other areas he wishes to add to his region. Once he finds candidates for Venture-Lieutenants in those cities, he will assign them.
To assist him with making sure the PFS scene in South Africa hits the ground running, he will be aided by his Venture-Lieutenants, Jean Marais in Cape Town, and Paul Coetzer in Durban.

Ya know, if you're looking for writers. I'm sure Michigan could spit out another writer. I mean you have Jim Groves and Kyle Baird. I could find you another.
Jerall, welcome to the team. I announced to my co-workers that you're now a VC, and we all thought it was cool that South Africa was represented, even though I'm the only one that plays Pathfinder at my work. :)

RPG Superstar 2011 Top 4

Thanks, everybody. It's been an interesting journey, which began last year with RPG Superstar. I've got a few exciting things planned for South Africa.
First up, ICON is South Africa's biggest convention. It's happening between 13 and 15 July (for those that can make it down to Johannesburg). They are planning to run PFS at the con for the first time.
Then, I'm fortunate enough to be traveling, for work, over the next few months. I'll be using the opportunity to meet up with other VCs where possible. Benelux is going to be my first stop and I plan to get as much advice and information out of Auke and Mark L.
Congratulations, I look forward to seeing what you have planned for Durban. Remember to send me an email or something if anything gets planned!
