Problems with minis?

Miniatures

Osirion

Anyone having problems with the minis falling apart? So far, Kyra has lost an arm, an ogre came off its base, and a wolf started to come off it's base.

Osirion

Negative, no problems on my end. And I have been pretty rough on them. I carry them in a sandwich "Ziplock" type bag and put them in a satchel and throw my satchel in my car, on the floor, on a table, etc and there are no broken pieces or anything.

I have had several come off their bases, and a couple lose parts (Seela's shield arm is a separate piece that was glued and the glue has let go, for example). I wonder if they had some batches where the glue didn't set properly or something?

Considering it appears that their feet are molded onto a small base that seems to be glued to THE base, if they fall off, can they be glued back on rather easily? Or are they FUBAR?

Wizkids has a page describing how to send in broken minis for replacements

If the mini comes off the base, it's super easy to glue back on. The minis actually have pegs that go into holes on the bases, so that makes it easy to reglue. That peg also provides a greater surface area for the glue, and should help keep them from ever coming off the base in the first place.

Awesome Vic, thanks!

The only pathfinder mini I've bought so far was the medusa and it arrived with the back half of the snake detached. Gluing piece back together or mailing them back in is a hassle I'm not really interested in.
I used to collect a lot of Heroclix, you had to be careful with them (compared to DDM) but few flat out broke. How do the Pathfinder minis compare?

There have been a few reported breakages, but not too many it seems. I've had no problems out of three cases and most people who have commented seem to have the same experience. (I believe I saw a post from someone whose case had three or four broken minis, but hats very unusual).

I got a case. I had a few minis that had popped out of the plastic, but no broken minis.

I've got two cases, two of the black dragon promos, two of the beginner box heroes, and two of the evil booster set; I've had no trouble with breakages in any of all that (which would be what ... something like 96 minis, I think).

My Frost Giant was off its base when I opened the box. My daughter popped off one of my Manticor's wings. Both glued right back together.
