Not sure if anyone has gotten theirs too but it looks like the paypal emails are going out from the frogs :-) trying to contain myself and not do a happy dance as this means we are that much closer to having our paws on all the goodies :-)
I got my call for shipping costs today, the frogs should be getting my payment soon. Interesting way to do it. I didn't know paypal could send payments in that manor.
Got mine too, think the amount is wrong. Well that or I ordered three subscriptions w/o knowing it.
They had a double RA sub in mine also - I think the post RA survey may have had some issues with extra items ordered beyond whatever was the initial backing pledge. I emailed Bill and Krista got back to me with a revised invoice total pretty quickly (couple of hours) - already made my payment via paypal
There were so many items involved - with my extra book and all the swag plus the sub I can see how things could get messed up.
Bill,

Any chance you could send out a Kickstarter update when the PDFs are available for download from the BI site? At least then I can just hit refresh on my email instead of email and the BI download site ;P
Question - do I need to create an account somewhere to access the PDFs? Should that be done in advance? Do I need to communicate that account to anyone in particular?
If this was already posted and I missed it, my apologies.
Chuck,
Thanks sir. However, it would still be nice to get the Kickstarter update from Bill when the PDFs are available for download from BI because, as we saw with ST, there can be a not insignificant delay between the PDFs being ready and actually being able to download them. I know it was an unusual situation with the BI person's vacation time, but it would still be good to know when the files are actually ready for the magic clicky clicky, IMHO.
I know this is the wrong thread (though I think some folks were talking about the Swords & Wizardry Kickstarter upthread a bit), but this was just too cool not to share. Just got this from Bill, but he's away from his computer this weekend and can't go posting:
"Frog God Games has a new Kickstarter project: the reprint of the Swords & Wizardry Rules. Everyone is talking about it! These old school rules are right in line with Gary's vision of the game. It is good to see them continuing the tradition started in 1973 and keeping the flame alive. I am so appreciative of the added efforts of Frog God Games to donate a portion of all book sales to the Gygax Memorial Fund. Several other companies are similarly providing support to include, True Dungeon, Wizards of the Coast, and many others. It is wonderful to see our industry coming together to make Gary's memorial a reality." - Gail Gygax
There is something that I've been wondering, but I have been leery of asking about. Please bear in mind that I'm not judging anyone's decisions about anything, I'm just curious. That said, here goes.

Could the Rappan Athuk PDFs have released for download as they were completed? It sounds like the PF RA final was done awhile ago. Several others (I think I heard 9 of 13 in one update) were ready over a week ago. Are we waiting for every PDF, both S&W and PF, to be ready before we can download any of them? Wouldn't a lot of the 'Are They Ready Yet?' posts have been avoided if the PDFs were released for download as they became ready?

Again, I'm sure you have your reasons, and since we're hopefully almost at the point where we are going to be able to download all of the PDFs anyway, it's going to be a moot issue soon, but I was just curious. Thanks!

Probably.
We could have also avoided the whole thing by assuming people would wait until the book is released before expecting their pdfs.
I have croaked with the other frogs to avoid announcements about future products until we are much further along in the process, to avoid you guys being upset we don't have products available nano-seconds after completion, and us being upset we're "letting down our great fans".

Some of the above is tongue in cheek, but some of it isnt.
Skeeter,
For sure I don't feel like FGG has let anyone down, quite the opposite. Also I'm not upset about whether or not the PDFs are ready for download; RL is more than full enough of things that worth getting worked up over. You guys are tops in my book; I really was just curious.
The PDFS are secondary to me; like Tsar I will use them to actually run the game, but the book is what I am looking forward to. The important thing is to make it as great as it deserves to be, rather than trying to rush. Waiting just makes the reward sweeter
Steve Squared (Lau and Geddes)--I will likely just call you guys when I pack to ensure we nail it down properly--the really big orders are very tough on the programming system.

Doc-
any ire implied in my response was not directed at your question. Sometimes I have to pick an opportune target to scare off others I can't talk to directly.
but now I can reference this thread, and all is well
Your aces in my book! And we'll get you that pdf, i swear!

No worries bill. I sent an email (a fair while back) with my "list of what I'm expecting". I can send it again closer to the time, if that's useful (time zones and everything being unfriendly that way...)my automated email seemed pretty close to me (other than the leather books, maybe, but I'm sure they'll make it in). :)
No stress really. If things go awry I can send back any excess loot or pad out my S&W kickstarter shipment with anything thats omitted.
you do realize that you're up for one of the biggest active threads at Paizo messageboards, don't you? It's 1,098 posts long, actually, 1,099 long with this one included.
