Been talking a bit about the name over on other forums, the Argent Legion doesn't sound bad. I am going to keep thinking though. Just not trying to make it sound like a military when it’s not or formal military. It's more of a place for people who want to fight and be the muscle of the order when it comes to daily things. I suspect many members will be in the formal military though.
Did I miss the link to the other forum or has it not been posted yet?

Older male dwarf who has left his clan because he feels (wrongly) that he has been made redundant by the younger generation. He is looking for someplace that he can be useful. He has a bit of wanderlust and is into mining / weaponcrafting (you can't make something if you don't understand it). He is slow to anger, but has no patience for those who harm innocents especially women and children. He will probably be a paladin of Saranae and pickup Cleric (preferably Oracle if possible) to enhance his healing skills. Given a choice between fighting evil and healing those who need it, he will chose healing.

Why do you want to join GL: I like helping people. I usually spend about 80% of my time crafting, and I would love it if that would support a guild that hunts down asshats and helps discourage asshattery in general. :P
What parts of GL's ideology do you find most appealing: Hard to say and I really like all of what I've read!
If you have a RP-background/concept for your character, what is it?: Not yet - I will have though. I've been RPing since UO first came out, through many and sundry MMO's, although I will admit that aside from UO, no MMO has been able to slake my Rping needs like a good RP enforced MUD. Therefore I can safely state that I will have a character concept, background, and depending on my level of energy, possibly a small character intro story. :P I've had many different kinds of characters, from a rather strait-laced leader of a guard outpost to a tavern-owner who was an enthusiastic follower of a hedonistic god. All I can say for sure is the character will be primarily a crafter with some adventurer/explorer mixed in. I'm really hoping to find more RP in PFO than I've found in any of the MMOs since UO but we'll see how that turns out.

I think there's a lot of potential for a tavern to double as a temple to Cayden Cailean. Isn't a bartender a counsellor and confessor, of sorts?

Well, that could fit well with the White Staves' missions of celebration & hospitality, possibly with a secondary role as an artisan of the Golden Scales, if you make your own micro-brew. ;)

Ah, those are organizations we've created. They should fit Golarion world lore well enough, but they aren't borrowed from it.

So the Inner Guilds or Subgroups Registration threads are up. Somethings might change as new roles and resposibilites are made apparent. This will be mostly based on how the game shapes up closer to release and if we find any holes we want to fill. So check out the 5 Groups that will make up The Empyrean Order (Great Legionnaires new name for those who are new or old and missed the meeting).

I registered for the new forums a few days back. I see there are no forums set up as of yet, but I am also seeing new posts popping up.
Where are these posts at? Is this a top secret, higher ranking guild forum us lowlies are being left out of? :)
Edit: Ah, there they are. When I went to "board index" it showed up. Odd, when I logged in, it said there were no forums.

Why do you want to join GL: I love the Guardian/Peacekeeper theme that stand up for what they believe in, but at the same time aren't afraid to fight.
What parts of GL's ideology do you find most appealing: Defending those who can't/won't defend themselves, and in general being a peacekeeper.
If you have a RP-background/concept for your character, what is it?: Haven't gotten around to this yet since I'm not sure of my class/race yet.

Good to see you’re all set Hobbun.
I was asked about Guild/College membership in our sub groups. First you can only have 1 primary guild. This is mostly to regulate the amount of votes if an election is call or scheduled. Primary members decide the leadership because this is the group they spend the most time with or enjoy the most.
Secondly try to limit your secondary membership to 1 or 2 other groups. In most cases if you want to do something related to the other groups you will not need to be part of it as long as your character able. (ie. Clearing out an orc camp with the Argent Blades wouldn't work if you had no combat skills or support)
Finally while membership in the groups should not be taken lightly it is not a permanent decision. It is very likely once we are actually playing the game you might drift towards another aspect of the game rather than the one you intended. You will be able to switch but, do not make it based on a "flavor of the week" decision.

Yeah it works well still and members are still called Silver Blades. The only one that didn't change much was the golden scales. Just because the name fit so well when it became The Golden Scales Trade Guild. The way there names could work seperately speaks as to our backstory which I will have to work with our resident scribe on in the near future.
The general idea I have so far is the founding guild masters and Andius the order's leader having been an adventuring party before. They went their seperate ways and formed individual companies who are now coming together in the river kingdoms as The Empyrean Order.
