Gestalt char question

Suggestions/House Rules/Homebrew

If someone wants to have a gestal char monk/martial artist or monk/ninja, how many ki points he has? The combination of both classes? Or the best of the two only?

thx

You'd have two ki pools and track them separately.

ok thx for the info

Cheliax

if the two classes you choose have aspects that overlap (such as Hit Dice, attack progression, saves, and class features common to more than one class), you choose the better aspect. The gestalt character retains all aspects that don’t overlap.

that said, i dont think tracking 2 seperate ki pools is horribly overpowered and forcing the ki pools to combine is actually a nerf

also martial artist doesnt get a ki pool, and you cant gestalt monk and monk (martial artist is a monk archetype)

im talking about this one:
