Something else to consider when comparing 1d12 to 2d6 is the bell curve that's formed when rolling two dice. When you roll 2d6 you have a much lower chance of rolling minimum damage than you do with 1d12. You also have a much lower chance of rolling maximum damage. 2d6 will have an average roll more consistently than 1d12. With 1d12 you'll run streaks of high damage, then streaks of low damage, while 2d6 will generally run the middle with the occasional high or low roll.


Just roll with a Falcata and beat the hell outa both of there outputs...


I've always wondered if Burst weapon enchantments are even worth buying, even for 15-20/x2 heightened crit weapons. I have this gut feeling that they are never worth buying.

They might be worth buying for your x4 naginata....if your dual-wielding keen kukri ally has Butterfly Sting....
