I just wanted to say thanks to SKR for being the pointman on rulings. I know many of them are considered unpopular but what many do not realize is that he is not alone in those rulings.

Being a pointman for unpopular rulings has to be a hard job so, thanks Sean for doing the dirty work.

P.S. I love that Paizo is active on the boards compared to other game companies I've seen over the years. Please keep this up.

Thanks indeed. Doesn't hurt that I mostly agee with him of course :)

Silver Crusade

He has a rocking beard too.

I am excited that Paizo has such an active involvement in the feedback process relating to their published materials and I am thankful that they are willing to talk about (and address) ambiguity when people are confused.

I especially want to thank SKR for being the most active presence in regards to rules insight. Not only is he willing to do FAQ updates, but he responds to rules posts with guidance (not always just making official rulings), he constructs Rules Blog entries addressing hot topics and he's willing to put himself on the line in chaotic threads by offering the Design Team's perspective in cases where the conversation can quickly devolve.

I know that he has been working on other projects recently and consequently had to pull back on his activity, but I can honestly say that the rules forum is a much more lively place when Sean is the liason for the Design Team, armed with blog entries and engaging in meaningful discussion with those that are interested in furthering the experience that is Pathfinder.

I've got to chime in on this too. Thanks Sean! It's great that you guys care so much about your product / customers! Even though we don't always agree with the rulings you make, we're still grateful you make them!

Indeed we don't hear enough appreciation of Sean K Reynolds on these boards!

Actually, I'd like to jump on this sentiment. I'm an SKR fan but regardless he deserves respect.

I don't have to agree with every ruling, or every rule for that matter, but when disagreeing we should all do so with respect. The people writing for Paizo are very, very good at what they do and the ratio of awesome-to-stinker is exceptionally low.

So I'll agree. I appreciate SKR.

Log me in for some SKR love!

Cue stirring kick butt ballad tune. "SKR you're a shooting star! That's what you are!"

Whatever you do, don't let him see this thread! ;-)

I'm sorry, which Sean? They all look alike to me.

Sean's so cool, every time he walks into a room a Flogging Molly soundtrack kicks on.

Ok. You're next. Sean's so cool, __________________

Sean's so cool, cucumbers wish they could be as cool as sean.

Sean sang me a Daigle-themed song in the office Friday. That's not the deciding factor, I've always liked the guy, but damn that helps. :)

Sovereign Court Contributor

Sean's so cool he croons Daigle-themed songs. Strike one in the awesome column. Then again, Adam, we all croon little songs to you before bed. Sean's just the one with the courage and opportunity to toodle right at you.

He is pretty cool. ;D

Answering FAQ questions is a thankless job. I'm glad someone else is doing it besides me!

That Sean is so active in the forums is a huge credit to Paizo and the gaming industry in general. I do appreciate the time and thought that goes into what he does. And I share his love of lycanthropic-stuff.

Though I cast my lot in with those who often disagree with his rulings. ;D

Thanks, Sean!

Now Sean must acknowledge this thread by recording that Daigle theme song and uploading it to youtube!

Sean is cooler than the other side of the pillow.

I like Sean K Reynolds, but not in a creepy stalkerish kind of way. I think he's a righteous dude.

SKR TOLD ME I'M A WHINEY ENTITLED TROUBLEMAKER, PLEASE FIRE HIM NOW OR I WILL HOLD MY BREATH REAL LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Liberty's Edge

I like SKR in a creepy, stalkerish sort of way.

SKR's totally awesome!

Until you took an arrow to the knee*.

Sean's so busy that those Dos Equis guys had to hire an actor to play him in their commercials... :)

Stay thirsty Sean's friends.

I called Sean "Boss", and he told me, "Just call me Sean!" But he never blushed.

Like the frackin' Lion King ever blushed!?!

Grace and dignity, with a side order of penetrating 'stab you in the face with a salad fork' intensity- that's the SKR way.

Now I got great respect for Tyrion Lannister, but Sean K Reynolds is like a real life person. Enuff said.

Liberty's Edge

I'll jump on the bandwagon!

Sean is a very cool dude! Got to speak to hime for a couple minutes last PaizoCon and he was very gracious.

Sean is so awesome, icosahedrons hope to roll a "natural Sean."

Sean is so awesome that PCs with that name need a +4 level-adjustment?

I'm sensing a Chuck Norris meme brewing.

Lantern Lodge RPG Superstar 2015 Top 16

Reminds me of this song from Weird Al, just replace CNR with SKR.

Warning: video PG to PG-13

Also, to start things off:

When Sean K. Reynolds rolls the bones, he uses the Grim Reaper.
Sean K Reynolds went back in time to make sure T-Rexes existed just so James Jacobs could have an avatar.
When Sean K. Reynolds creates a character, it's always Awesome 20.
Sean K. Reynolds can roll a 20 with a 4-sided die.

Sean's like a cool breeze on a hot rules debate.

Sean is a cool guy, so cool I'm totally not planning revenge for him drawing all over my arm with a sharpie at GenCon while waiting in line at the Paizo booth. :D

Sean's a groovy dude.

Sovereign Court

He's also VERY tolerant of the OLD fanboys just popping up out of nowhere to surprise him at GenCon. Hell of guy that Mr Reynolds.

To paraphrase Firefly, he's Our Mr Reynolds. :)

Dark Archive

so long as those fanboys don't sneak attack him...

Sean's so awesome that there's no chin behind his beard. There is only another fist.

And Chuck Norris stole that idea from Sean.

Seriously... i ran into him so many times I thought I was going to get a restraining order! :)

Sean's so awesome he can Intimidate foes while using Hide In Plain Sight.

Dark Archive

Wait, Sean has grown a beard?

Sean K is almost as dreamy as the Inquisitor in 'Dorkness Rising' ... now that guy was tasty!

Good point. Actually, some years we can't fit enough appreciation, so we add an extra day just to handle the overflow.
