I wanted to make mention that I think a lot of Paizonians/ Pathfinderdites would be interested in a Goblin Lanyard. I know I would be interested!! I would keep it black with perhaps the image of the goblin with a torch (drawn by Wayne Reynolds) with the pathfinder logo (in purple) in between each icon.

Whatever design you come up with I am sure would be awesome, and I cannot imagine that I am the only supporter interested.

...Also, should you be even more amazingly awesome that you guys already are and take on this task, could you include the flash drive string and perhaps a small plastic Goblin icon attached to the lanyard?...doesn't hurt to ask right!?!

Grand Lodge

I want one. It would be cool to hook a badge holder to at conventions.

I would love one of these!

I would love multiples of these! For conventions, AND to hold my namebadge at Work!

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Card Game Subscriber

I'd want one or two... or three.

They could even establish rank with the pins. Some people might get goblin leader pins while others get goblin shaman pins, etc. They could even have pins of those aquatic aberrations that kind of look like goblins for something like a Skull and Shackles event (for people who participate).

I just want two to purchase for myself...no strings attached!

But ... it would be a lanyard ... would there have to be strings by definition?

And yes, I would prefer one to the bland thing I have that holds on to my key card currently. :)

I don't know what a Lanyard is but as long as it has got to do with goblins i'm all in favor.

Lanyard - except in this case that wolf would be a goblin

That just answered two questions. (that being, "what is a lanyard" and "what do you call those things like that on the picture")

Yeah I want one.

Is it too late to have these made for GenCon?

stupid word, what's wrong with keycord?

Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber

As lanyard is a real word, and keycord is not according to dictionary.reference.com, I'll stick with the real word.

Also, many, many folks, who were involved in camping, or scouts, learned how to make lanyards as kids.

heck, we even had a song about boondoggle and lanyards...

it's still a stupid word :p

keycord... it's cord for a key. easy
lanyard... it's a yard of lan? LAN yard? are yards different for Local Area Networks (probably true!), not 0,9144 meters? Is it an enclosed area where you can host LAN-parties? Wait what? It's a cord to attach your keys to? O_o

And if you attach something else to it other than keys? I've never seen a lanyard just used for holding keys. Normally I see them for security passes.

Wait, by that logic, the following are also stupid words:

pencil - nope, it's a writingstick
tree - nope, it's a bigstickwithgreenthings
pool cue - nope, it's a roundrockpokingstick
stick - nope, it's a poker or a burnthingee

Lanyard is just fine, because that's what it is. ;)

I'd rather have a badge holder than a lanyard (although a badge holder complete with logo lanyard would be even nicer). A single-clip lanyard allows the badge to twist, so it will always be facing the wrong way when you have your hands full.
The badge holders they were selling at Kublacon were nice - a clear plastic window on the front pocket for your event badge, another pocket on the rear suitable for a hotel room key or the like, and a taller central pocket (with zip) large enough for pens, a pair of glasses, etc.

hey, if dey givin away goblins on lanyards den I'm in!! Mark me down fer two!

(dunno why you boneheads is makin a big deal outta "badge holders" and such when dere's gobbos to be had...)

Shadow Lodge

Make sure the lanyard is big enough to fit over a goblin head.

I still feel that these are doable even on a limited run of 500-1000 to test the waters without taking up too much space in the warehouse. I believe in the dream of a Goblin lanyard :)...

Taldor

I would buy several. :)

A Lanyard seems the next logical step from bottle openers! We could even attach them together. Pretty please, with sugar on top...make a goblin lanyard.

Don't give up Jester, perseverance is the key!

I'm totally down for a goblin lanyard; make it with Velcro or a clip so it can break-away and I'll take it flying with me!

Osirion

Huh, I only knew lanyard from the sailing / nautical term.

I was like, 'how big a customer base could there be for goblin themed ship's rigging?'

But it's the future, and I must accept that 'hoist the lanyard' now means to throttle someone by their convention badge, which at least sounds fun.

Alright, now that we are fat and filled to the brim on this wonderful holiday, could we please see a goblin lanyard soon!?! It's my one Christmas wish...

Yeah, I'll agree (again) a maniacal D20 gobbo lanyard would be awesome!!!

I feel that a Goblin Lanyard who be an awesome gift for PaizoCon this coming year. It could be a good way to test it out on the fans and see how they like it. Please give this product idea a try.

Shadow Lodge

Pathfinder Adventure Path Subscriber

Just imagine - a Goblin lanyard would be a great way to display all the Paizo buttons one gets from PaizoCon and GenCon...

I'd be in for these if they got made as well, not only for myself but also for my local PFS players and GMs!

Grand Lodge

I'd buy one.

I would totally buy at least one. I love goblins!

Andoran

Is this a lanyard on which to tether my goblins?

Taldor

would rock
