Will recent errata to Ultimate Magic change rules for PFS play?

A few key examples that might change previous rules:

- Create Reliquiery Arms and Armor now does have a price (250gp) so does this mean that PFS characters can now purchase Reliquiery arms or armor (ie my cleric of Sarenrea would like a shield as holy symbol and holy focus....)

- changes to the Syntheist archetype that may address major issues many have had with the class

- changes to other archetypes, monks vows and many other areas.

Some of which as errata may render some characters now invalid.

So my main question is how does new errata impact PFS play and does it (I think it should) lead to a revisiting of what is allowed from a given book (ie if things were not allowed due to problems now fixed by the errata)

Link to the errata, for those who were unaware (like me)

I'm just super happy to see the Antagonize errata. I know some people may likely continue to be upset at the lack of a saving throw, but the outcome is now exactly what I was hoping for.

Players are expected to apply all errata to their PCs immediately upon release of updated rules. There are currently no plans to make additional material from Ultimate Magic legal for Pathfinder Society play, but we reserve the right to revisit the Additional Resources list for any material at any time in the future.

The Terrible Remorse errata also helps power down that particular bit of silliness. It's still very strong, but it's definitely better than it was.

EDIT: And I agree on the Antagonize errata, that's a massive improvement.

After a post from JJ or another Paizo staffer, I had already been running Antagonize as it's now just been errat'd - 10+ dc, they can cast/range attack you etc. Glad to see it hasn't been brutalized, my s**t talking duelist still needs her taunt ;)

Glad to see some synthesist clarification, fixes the people in armless blobs from casting.

Thanks. As a player of a cleric I think it would be fantastic if Reliquiery arms and armor as a option to buy were made legal now that a cost for this has been established (I don't care as much about the feat as much as I'd like to be able to buy a shield that can be a holy focus (and the Reliquiery abilities are nice bonuses re casting consecrate on my shield)

I'm also about to make a hexcrafter magus for PFS play and clarification about whether they get improved spell recall at level 11 or not would be nice to hear (if not immediately relevant)

This part is hidden in the archetype rules.

They don't get improved spell recall, but instead at 11th they get the normal (4th level version of) spell recall.

There's some wording in the archetypes that says if you lose a basic ability but would gain an improved version later on you get the basic ability at that point.

James - there is a lot of debate about that point (I've started threads elsewhere on these boards about it) the text in the archetypes section is NOT clear in the least about what happens with spell recall/improved spell recall as it is explicitly about what happens when an archetype replaces one ability in a long sequence (i.e. one level's worth of channel/sneak attack etc)

There are only three archetypes (all Magus archetypes) that don't clearly specify what happens - all other cases (monk archetypes with evasion/improved evasion for example) have specific text about what abilities if any are replaced)

You can already do this via Santified/Consecrated shields or weapons from the Adventurers Armory.

I hate it when there's eratta that's not on the FAQ and I have to wait until I get home to download it and read it...

I don't suppose anyone's bored enough to copy/paste it into a PM for me, eh? *winning smile*
