The gist was carried across which was the more important thing. Glad the damage was addressed immediately.
At the sake of being preachy from painful personal life experience, keep an eye out for mold and mildew in coming weeks even with the cleaning detail brought in. The exceptional humidity may not have touched things 'higher up' but it was still present for an extended period and can have an impact.
Have a great day folks, may it be insightful and tranquil for all. ...in a GOOD way!

Things sounded like they went pretty well with the job interview. If I get the job offer, I'll likely go with this one (but keep looking - it's a 6 mo contract with no guaranteed conversion though they say they hire a lot from this team, so I need to stay hungry) - it's not a very far place and there's a free-ride downtown bus route between me and the work site.

Yep, they're keeping an eye out, but it looks like the floor is gonna have to be replaced anyway (the mats that make it up are "bubbling" from all the moisture).

Also, on Saturday I will be skating in my final home bout with the Mankato Area Derby Girls. As much as I love this team, I'm not able to keep skating with them because of the cost of gas.
I hope you have a blast!

Hey all. Sorry to be away for so long. Too much stuff that I need to do + not enough hours in the day = Not enough time for the stuff I really want to do.
* sends out skittermanders to give the hugs, handshakes, etc. that I've been unable to give the past few days *
As they say in the theater - break a leg, Kttyburger (the job interview, not the derby).
Rysky, glad everything's ok (so far) with the flooding. Made me think just how bad the flood would have to be for my desk to get flooded at my job (on the second floor) - then again, it would be a great excuse to not go into work or even leave my apartment.

I think it'd depend on which kind of unicorn one got with the free range version?
I mean, getting something like a rhino could be a bit problematic, as could one that's very... staid in their perspectives...

Be good for the daily commute though.

I know that I don't post much at all anymore. I just want to pop in and say that things are going ok. I have been trying to take bigger steps. I have gone out several times in a way that feels most comfortable to me. I'm still terrified, but it's only by facing that fear will I learn to love and accept myself the way my friends do.

Hi, everyone! Glad to see you around again, Mecha.
Klorox, A few years ago, I hand-wrote a database program to keep track of large collections of anime. If you want, I can re-tool it for keeping track of books. If you're interested, PM me. P.S. I have only Windows machines, so that's all I can develop for.
