Sara Marie, thank you for the resources.

*commentary deleted because it serves no good end*

:D That is sooo funny. Just what were these people smoking, anyway?

Thanks, Cap Collateral.

*Accepts hugs* Good morning, everyone.

The feeling of validation when you run a scenario and it has something similar to an encounter you had in a homebrew game is nice.

They read your mind and stole your idea? THE FIENDS!

*Sigh* I'm never going to get used to testing my blood sugar. It took me a full minute just to work up the nerve to press the button on the Lancet wand.

Oh well. Time to go home, anyway. Good night, everyone.

John?

There are some testers out there that are in development/starting to hit the market that don't require pricking. Don't have the details handy, but they've been developed because the very reason you mention has been stopping a lot of people from testing on a regular basis...

It seem that it's psychologically difficult for me to draw my own blood. Perhaps I have an aversion to self-inflicted pain.

My brother's puppy got into a tube of Gorilla Glue. The family has to wait an see if it causes intestinal blockage. I told my brother to tell his pooch that although they kind of look the same, Gorilla Glue is not squeezable cheese.

Poor pupper :(

I asked him to keep me updated.

A gamer is looking to put together an Actual Play Podcast, and is specifically looking for queer players. I, alas, do not qualify. But I still think this is a cool idea, so I'm trying to do a bit of a signal boost here.

Here is the recruitment thread.

Right now, I'm very proud of Pittsburgh. Over the past two days, our baseball team collected enough relief supplies for Puerto Rico to fill two FedEx Jumbo Jets.

My dad's beagle ate a die with chocolate once and they got the die out the other end and cleaned it.

I hope surgery on my brother's puppy isn't required.

I would make a comment, but just thinking about it made me decide against it. Not everyone would appreciate a joke about poor die rolls.

I saw three deer, yearlings, I think, across the street from my house as I was coming home.

Just a update on my friend...they are doing a biopsy tomorrow...so we will know more tomorrow. I might not be around much...I am kind of emotionally exhausted.

Keep in touch when you can.

I will...and ask all of you to pray...or just think positively(if praying is not your thing) for him.

And lots of *hugs*

Been quiet from my end (had a depressive episode, which for me mostly means laying down whenever I can and not showering for days), but after a good night's sleep I seem to be doing better.

Best of luck to the dog with a taste for superglue and Selene's friend! May then Natural 20's flow freely for the doctors... and, uh, the dog's Fort save, maybe?

*nods*

That's pretty much what I do these days, just sleep and hope everything resets for a bit.

Thanks, Vixie. I'm about to "bot" the GM in the PbP I'm in ( well, I did receive permission ), so wish me luck.

Wait the dog gets top billing over my friend?

This made me laugh...so thank you even unintentionally I needed that. And if it was my friend would also find it funny...

Perhaps it's more of a case of saving the best for last?

No, it's okay. I don't mind.

So they delayed my Friend's biopsy to this afternoon(like 4:45 instead of the 9:30AM) so we probably won't learn anything till tomorrow...I am going out with some friends tonight...

Enjoy the respite, Selene, and I pray (in an atheist way) for your friend

Gotta do our best to avoid politics here :D as much as it pains us all to do so

Well, I for one anticipate a growing trend towards noodly appendages and greater empathy for one's fellow aspirants.

May it be so.

I am normally quite happy to do gm prep but it seems no one signed up for my tables although they are the 14th and 21st for pathfinder society.

My campus LGBT group was planning on making a big excursion to the local zoo tomorrow, but now the hurricane's come up and we can't do it for two weeks...

Yay now two people have signed up for the first table.

My friend is still in the ICU after his biopsy and will be there till tomorrow(Sat.) so I could not visit him today...I think the results are positive as it is treatable...his Father when I spoke to him was kinda vague but seemed optimistic.

Because I was bore I spent the day with my trans friend...trying to keep our minds off of it. And we went and pick me up some stockings...I just tried them on and the feel awesome and look very pretty. I just can not wait to get all I need and finally present as female.

Glad to hear that your friend's tumor is probably benign*. Keep us posted on his progress, please.

* Benign. Such a funny word for something that has caused so much trouble.
