Morning everyone. Needing company today, so don't mind if I lurk.

Accepts hugs today. Shed tears on the bus yesterday without actually crying. Maybe I was unconsciously sad, for some reason.

Thanks, Rysky. The strange part was that I was listening to the local Hard Rock / Metal radio station at the time.

I know some pretty tear-jerking metal songs...

Fred hugs!

* gives John an extra hug *

Remember, it's always ok to shed tears. And if anyone says different I'll eat them. ;-)

Sending out my love and good wishes to everyone.

*Chuckle* Thanks, I needed that. Just refrain from eating too many people. All that fat and cholesterol isn't good for you.

Leaving for work. I'll be back on-line at around 1. Sooner than last Friday, now that I know my Dell laptop prefers a direct connection with my hotspot.

Be safe and careful out there.

Tower update:
Machine fan is making louder noise, but temps are holding consistently and fan speed is slower...

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I'm back. *Oops*

The machine fan is in the Power Supply. Maybe the fan's bearings need oiled.

Well, since activity has slowed considerably, I can only conclude that everyone is either asleep or getting ready for bed. Good night everybody.

So...due to lack of money's this week I am not going to that LGBT mixer thing I mentioned before. Stupid flooding on Friday caused damage to my car I needed to get fix. Very frustrated.

*Hugs Selene* Sorry to hear about the flooding, and the damage to your car. Was it insured against flood damage?

Oh, phooey. And darn. And heck. And here's a hug.

Oh sure! Now that I've said good night, everyone starts showing up. *grumble* :)

John Napier 698 wrote:

The damage was not too heavy...but I needed to fix it. The cost of the parts was enough that I don't have the any extra money for the week.

I guess I could ask my Mother for the money...but I hate doing that.

Life sucks.

Though hugs do help.

Selene that is not good. I do not wish that kind of thing on anyone. I played the pfs season 2 special last weekend to help raise money for my lgbt center. The worst part is I forgot my wallet which paniced me for a bit. I played one scenario in the morning as well. I played both my half orc brawler and undine cleric. I got several tables of characters in channel energy even if it is only 1d6.

Some years ago, some idiot blew through a stop sign and hit my mother's car. We were both okay, but the car received heavy damage to the right front corner. The insurance helped, but she still had to pay the deductible. So, I know how much it hurts to have to fix a car. *Hugs again*

And, everybody, I've got more good news. A gaming society here in Pittsburgh has moved to a place relatively close to my home. After a several-year hiatus, I can go back to being a player! And the bus takes me almost there.

Welcome, pixierose!

Awesome news, John

Yes, it is. The old home of the Gaming Association of Southwest Pa (GASP) was basically on the other side of the city. But I'm familiar with the area they moved to. My mother used to work in a Nursing Home near there, and there's a Supermarket nearby, so buying food for the meeting isn't a problem. Yay, me! Patience pays off!

So I haven't been here in a while. I'm struggling with something that hasn't been diagnosed yet. I get to see a doctor for the first time for it tomorrow. It's been going on for about a month, but 2 weeks ago it got so bad that I collapsed at work. I'm currently not on the schedule because I'm a safety risk should I collapse and hit my head.

I have no income. I'm working on one of those fundraisers so I can pay my bills for the month. I'm very depressed because of this. I don't like to feel like I'm failing at everything. Sorry if this brings anyone down. I just need to vent.

Oh, and hello Rose. Everyone here is really nice.

That's okay, Bob. Do what you need to do, but take care of yourself, first. We'll still be here. Please keep us posted as to what's going on.

@John: Great news. I forget how lucky I am sometimes that I have 4 groups I play with.

@Bob_Loblaw: *hugs*...what is the link to the fundraiser?

I'll send it in a private message. I don't know if it's allowed on the boards, but I know that it can be done in a PM.

Yes. I've been without a group for two or three years. We disbanded the group when the GM began her transition. She isn't up to running games anymore. I saw her at last year's Tekko. She's doing well.

I'm thinking that I may have Meniere's Disease, but I refuse to self-diagnose. Because I had a major problem just over a year ago with blood clots throughout my brain, I need to make sure that there isn't any nerve damage that could be causing this. All the symptoms point to Meniere's, but I'm not a doctor.

@John: I hope the new group works out for you. And if you ever have to move to Northern NJ let me know...I know alot of gamers in the area. I can hook you up.

@Bob_Loblaw: Always a good idea not to self-diagnose...I know a few people who do that and inevitably they just make it worst...

I hope it isn't that, but I'll keep you in my thoughts anyway.

My mother has roots here in Pittsburgh. But when she leaves us, I'm not sure I want to stay here.

Feeling tired, now. Going to bed. Good night, all.
