To me it translates as "palpate, feel, touch" anyway:

correct translation:
"palpare" in italian means "to touch woman's breasts with lust in mind". "palpatina" is the noun, singular; "palpatine" is the plural.
edit:note, such an act it is often charged of sexual harassment

In other words, "fondle".

That smells like winning to me.

Most lipsticks contain fish scales.

So that's why all those women have started to have their lips surgically altered to look like fish mouths.

I thought lipstick was made from duck bills.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. 10 million lightyears tall. Getter Emperor might be larger, but I'm unclear on it's exact height.

I consider Gurren Lagann more of a parody than a true giant robot series, but you may be right about getter emperor.

the largest real robot is the Vulcan Engineering robotic arm. It can lift payloads up to 1670 kg and reaches out to 6 meters.

That's because the same side of the moon always faces the Earth.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say "the same side is always facing the earth during a particular lunar phase"? Because IIRC the "dark side of the moon" does face the Earth... but only during the New Moon phase, so we can't see it anyway.

Nope, the Earth and Moon's rotations are synchronized due to gravitational tidal forces and a bit of cosmic luck. The Moon does wobble a bit so over the period of a lunar month we can see a total of 59% of the moon but the dark side always faces away from the earth.

Straight Dope article that explains the reasons in more detail.

There's no luck involved. Tidal lock is a fate that all planets and moons share, sooner or later (barring rotation-orbit resonance). Even earth's rotation is slowed by the sun's gravity.

Luck that we have a moon at all. Luck that the moon isn't in an irregular orbit. Luck that we only have one moon. Luck that we have such a large moon. Stop nitpicking.

I'm still pissed that we couldn't see the super moon here in Philly due to cloud cover. How am I supposed to bathe in it's mystical light and get super powers when said mystical light cannot reach me?!?

There are some blue bugs in the world, so the terminology of food would have to be defined.
