Don't know if it qualifies for the term "super robot" or "giant mech" but the humanoid shape of the first SDF-1 (Choji Sora Yousai Macross) is more than 1 mile tall.

Also, from the Robotech RPG from Palladium:
Gerwalk (hybrid humanoid mech/jet fighter mode of a valkyrie)=Ground Effective Reinforcement of Winged Armament with Locomotive Knee-joints.

The sdf-1 doesn't count as a super robot, as it is from a "real" robot series.

I can only answer "how much do you know of Italian?"

edit:this may sound ridiculous to non italians, but think that Darth Vader has been renamed Darth Fener because the original word was too similar to water (which in italy is a synonymous of Water Closet-the WC)

I knew that 'Vader' was 'Father' in Dutch.

I admit I know very little Italian. It's the fact that it was a sexual allusion would've been something I've picked up on and make use of it in subtle conversation to amuse myself w/o making the non-enlightened aware. :)

Just copy and paste "palpatine" "palpare" or "palpeggiare" in google tranlator (from italian to english) and see what results it gives
