Modules that takes place in the Sandpoint region?

Beginner Box

Starting with the beginners box, I thought it'd be fun to keep everyone in the local area, not only so they'd get to appreciate and enjoy the locals and what not, but so I can learn a area before moving onto the next.

I know Rise of the runelords and jade reagent both takes place at least at the start, around sandpoint, and so does we be goblins (module) but anything else? Also is there any natural chronological order to these campaigns in terms of timeline?

One place I thought was interesting based on reading a pathfindre wiki, was the old light of pathfinder and the crazy bird man, is any in depth material on that?

Chopper's Isle

A well done side quest involving the story of the "Crazy bird man"

In terms of timeline, Rise of the Runelords happens before Jade Regent. Some of the key NPCs from RotRL later make an appearance in Jade Regent. If I had to choose, I'd say We Be Goblins should be run before both of those, as to give some insight into the way goblins think and act. Also to build a perception of goblins being cute and innocent, which will then be shattered during the later campaigns.

Liberty's Edge

As I understand it, We be Goblins is intended to be played as an intro for Jade Regent, although I've read many posts that convert it to run prior to RotRL.

I second Ravenbow's suggestion to use the Chopper's Isle sidequest; it's very well done

The first part of Rise of the Runelords, "Burnt Offerings", takes place almost entirely in Sandpoint and the nearby area. It also goes into greater detail about the Old Light and what is below it. I would also say that Burnt Offerings could be run quite easily as a stand-alone adventure, without needing to run the whole Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path

Burnt Offerings is currently out of print, but you can still buy the PDF. If you can afford to wait until June, there will be a hardcover compilation of the whole Adventure Path in one volume.

Other modules that take place in the same general area include The Godsmouth Heresy, which takes place in Kaer Maga, a few hundred miles to the Northeast, and Feast of Ravenmoor, which takes place in a backwater village a few days' travel away. I think that Feast of Ravenmoor would be easier to integrate into a Sandpoint-centric game, and I can speak from experience that it's an excellent module!

Liberty's Edge

Seconding Feast of Ravenmoor! I ran it as an interlude between volumes 1 and 2 of Jade Regent, and it's quite good.
