A few thoughts after reading the blogs

When crafting was mentioned I wondered what sorts of things we would be needing to craft? Food and drink? Potions and scrolls for special abilities, healing or increasing stats temporarily, etc.? Probably weapons, ammunition and gear, of course, but mods for them?

Also, will the settlements and kingdoms have content scaled for larger raid groups as in the old style games?

Do you think there will be things like falling damage, limited breath for swimming, weight of gear slowing you down or decreasing your abilities?

Will we have to find a vendor or teacher to upgrade or learn new abilities? Will we be swamped with quest givers with little lights over their heads like all the new games have or will we be challenged to find things for ourselves?

Will faction matter in one's ability to buy or sell to npc's or even whether one is allowed in town at all?

Some of these things probably were not even discussed in the blogs but I am so excited at the prospect of actually getting to play a harder style mmo again that I couldn't help posting them. /grin

One thing I can point out (although many of these questions are still yet unanswered, and thus I can only suggest my own wants) is that we are not going to be swamped with quest givers. They have suggested modules with quests, but that is not going to be the main emphasis of the game. Many of the monsters and lairs will be random, and as the game progresses, players will be causing much of what happens.
