[Paizo Fans United] Wayfinder Magazines not in compliance with OGL

Product Discussion

I was looking through back issues of the Wayfinder magazine and noticed that none of the following issues are in compliance with the OGL

Volume 1
Volume 2
Volume 3

In none of these cases did was Sections 6 or 8 followed and all issues were lacking the updated Section 15 portion of the license (as per section 6).

What was the intention with regards to Product Identity vs Open content, and what should the Section 15s be for these editions?

This was an oversight when we were first putting the magazines together (mostly because we didn't quite know what we were doing), and I'm not 100% of the status of the original layout files for those issues. The intent was that the mechanics are Open Game Content, but the artwork, fiction, and similar items are not.

I'll see if I can't update those issues with a corrected copy of the OGL.

Thanks for the quick response. So if I wanted to use the mechanics from an article in one of these issues, I can do so if I use the intended Section 15 notice?
