That has to be 'The Wizard of Oz'.
Favorite 'We're not in Kansas anymore' quote in any movie not involved with Oz?

Hmmm.
I'm not really sure what's going on any more, but I like one-liners, too!

Pick any 3 Harryhousen films.
Favorite Kaiju movie, and why?
Oh come on, Kirth, give it up: which are YOUR three favorite Harryhausen films?
As for the current question of favorite D&D-style monster:
Vermithrax the dragon from Dragonslayer, no doubt about it.
Favorite spy movie made in the 1960s that's not a James Bond movie.

Three Days of the Condor (1975)
Same questions, but for the 1980s?
I'm not sure it precisely qualifies as a *spy* movie, but I'm tempted to say The Hunt for Red October. If that doesn't qualify, how about Top Secret? :)
Same question, but for the 1990s?

Favourite Ingmar Bergman-movie that's not the 7th Seal.
Obscure... Persona, from 1966, looks good...
Favorite post-apocalyptic French film, featuring a monkey?!
Yeah... bit too late with that answer.

Let's finish the time line.
Same question, but for this century?

Saw Hobbit in 48 fps and didn't have a problem with it. The movie was a blast. It is far more of a joy ride movie than LotR. LotR is better due to its epic quality. The difference between LotR and The Hobbit is about the same as the difference between the books LotR and The Hobbit, except The Hobbit has more added, and with the LotR some was taken away. Both are excellent in their own right.
Not surprising my list of the movies I want to see is the same as Jason's list, except I would add Star Trek 2 from Pan's list.
What is the list of flicks do you want to see for the next poster?

I was ill the whole rum of the Hobbit, so that is the obvious answer - I will probably buy the BlueRay, regardless of the extended coming out christmas.
What movie do you regret seeing in the theatre Or buying on DVD last year?
feytharn |
I have seen quite a few bad movies, but there are a few that stand out because
a) I expected better - Blade trinity tied with League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
b) I found the offensive in every concievable way - Wanted (I like action movies, I can handle and sometimes like cynicism in action movies but this one I left the theatre feeling bad for having seen the movie)
A German TV-movie that will remain unnamed here but was so bad I just wanted to claw my eyes out to end the pain.
I refused to name any of the Boll-movies I have seen here, as I fully expect them to vanish from this reality if we all manage to disremember them.
Same question.

People love to hate on uwe bol but the fact remains there are much worse movies out there than his dreck. For example
Ultraviolet
Twilight series
Resident evil series
Hostel (probably 2 and 3 and 4)
Once upon a time in Mexico
death proof
Ron Burgundy anchorman
Zoolander
Bridesmaids
Movie you watched over and over as a kid?
