Nets and flying monsters

If a flying creature gets hit with a net, is there any consequence to their ability to keep flying? It really seems to me that gaining the entangled condition really ought to at least require a fly check for creatures with wings, but I can't find anything in RAW that indicates that they have to.

And if not by RAW, what seems like a fair DC for the check to houserule it?

There are three parts of the Fly skill you can use to adjudicate entangled while flying: moving at less than half speed, attacked while flying, and collision while flying. Between those and the penalties for being entangled, most fliers will learn to respect the net.

Well, since entangled limits you to moving at half speed, then I'd say they at least need to make that check every round. DC 10 seems preposterously easy, though. Maybe a DC 20 on the round the net hits them, and a DC 10 every round afterwards as long as they remain entangled? Might need a size modifier, though, to keep little nets from taking down big fliers.

It seems to me that nets ought to be an excellent way of bringing down fliers. There just don't seem to be any specific rules as of now that detail using them in that way.
