Scarab Sages

I do.

I always thought it was a fun movie.

One of the few movies I remember seeing at the theater as a kid. Loved it!

: Deep in the boiler room beneath the Secaucus Holiday Inn :

A lone man sits watching the monitor connected to the cameras hidden in the 'Seabreeze Room' where the Howard the Duck fans are gathering. His thumb runs over the red det-switch... 10 lbs of C4 and a dozen claymore mines are waiting to be set off.

The man chuckles to himself Patience... Have to get them all... just a few more minutes...

I remember liking it... oh... 25 years ago?

Why all the hate stormraven, it's not like people are still forcing you to watch it.

You may not find it funny, but I was going for humor not hate. Truthfully, Howard the Duck doesn't make it onto my Top 10 or Worse 10 movies list.

Sorry but I still like this movie more then the last three Star wars movies combined. But of course that isn't saying much now is it.

Why it wouldn't make my top 10 80's movies ether it does rank up there for me.

Not to derail this Howard-love thread but since you mentioned it... I am one of the few heretical souls who is not a fan of Star Wars particularly movies I, II, and III. Not even Natalie Portman and Liam Neeson could save that truly stilted and wretched dialogue.

The kitsch and convenient wrap-up in VI made me want to projectile vomit then kick George in the tinker-toys.

Sovereign Court

I liked it

Duck boobs WTF?

even used to own the soundtrack.. i think.
or somewhre had hold of the theme song..
-sings to self while reading more of the boards-

I liked Lea Thompson in a miniskirt. Could do without the Tina Turner hairdo though.

That is the eighties. Hair like that was common.

Yeah. Padme. The whole "she died of a broken heart" thing...and the medibots diagnosed that? Did they get their doctorates in Poetry? LOL

On a completely different note, I remember liking Howard the Duck.

The Exchange Contributor, RPG Superstar 2008 Top 6

I liked the monster at the end.

I liked it but was always a bit bummed that since they used the bad guys from Rom that Rom didn't get to appear and save the day.

Yes I am that much of a geek.
