Beacon of Good

I'm confused by the wording on beacon of good. It says that any pathfinder caught selling their wayfinder is kicked out of the faction and needs to pick another one. But how can they sell their wayfinder? Since they used prestige points to pay for it, it has no selling price.

May I ask where is this From? I believe it but don't remember ever seeing it.

A Basic wayfinder can be bought with gold for 250gp with no Prestige Points.

Also I thought the title of this thread was Bacon of Good...mmmmmmm bacon...;)

Glanced at the thread title and thought it said "Bacon of good".

Alas it is not.

Edit: Dragnmoon — It is a Silver Crusade vanity in the field guide.

It's also listed in the back of the book as being available for 2,000gp, regardless of faction. However, it should also be noted that some of the items/descriptions are there because the book is more than a PFS guide.
The book is also a Golarion supplement for homegames that wish to use the Pathfinder Society in their campaigns. Pathfinders in such games would be restricted by their GM, and not the PFS rules.

EDIT:It's from the Pathfinder Society Field Guide.

It is from the Pathfinder Society Field Guide. It is a Silver Crusade Prestige Award:

Beacon of Good (Fame 5, 2 PP)

Spoiler:
The Shining Crusade gives you a shining wayfinder (see page
55) emblazoned with the emblem of a silver dragon. If you
lose your shining wayfinder, you can purchase a new one
for an additional 2 PP. Members of the Silver Crusade
who are caught selling shining wayfinders for their own
profit are exiled, and must switch factions.

Not sure if this means that if you purchace a Shining Wayfinder with gold and you are a member of the Silver Crusade that you cannot sell it. Maybe it is just flavor text.

Well, anything bought with PP has a 0 gp resale value in PFS play, so like others said, that would only matter in a non-PFS game where the GM would let you sell it for gold. And even in a home game, since it says sell for profit, I am sure a character would not get in trouble if the only way to pay for a Raise Dead or some other vital spell service was to sell the item. As for the ones that can be bought for gold, since in PFS everything sells for half price, it would be impossible to sell it for a profit, so you are safe there too.

Off topic, on bacon:
There is no bacon of good because, as we all know, all bacon is good
