Thanks, that seems to have fixed it. I just chose a new avatar.
It may have been that it was REALLY old, I made it for a game I was going to join early last year that filled up as soon as I finished making the alias. I'm joining a new game and wanted to repurpose an old, unused alias rather than make a new one.
