A few magus / spell questions

Rules Questions

A few questions that I had a hard time inferring:

1a Can a Magus casting 'chill touch' use the feature spellstrike to deliver multiple touches in one round?
1b Do you need to use spell combat (or can you, even) to deliver the extra touches past the first?

2 Can the trait magical lineage turn a level 1 spell into a level 0 spell (and thus make it a cantrip) if you apply a +0 level metamagic feat or feature to it?

3 Using Monstrous Physique III and IV, can you assume huge size of a monstrous humanoid race that isn't normally huge to get the size bonus? I checked and there are no monstrous humanoids that are regularly huge in the Paizo beastiary.

1a: Yes, but not in the first round. The first round's standard action was used to cast chill touch, thereby preventing you from making a full attack. If you get bonus attacks with your limited actions somehow, you could continue to deliver your chill touch spell even in the first round, however. Be wary of similar spells that say "one touch per round," as that's not the same thing. With such spells you would only be permitted to use one charge per round even when making multiple attacks that round.

1b: No, it is not needed. If you do use spell combat to cast chill touch (and NOT spell strike) then you would effectively have a chill touch in one hand and you weapon in the other. You can alternate attacks much like a duel wilder (note that the very act of casting chill touch gets you a free attack with it in the same round).

2: No. Game developers have already established on these forums that it does not work that way, and was never meant to work that way.

3: I do not believe so (the polymorph rules mention looking like a "typical representative" of a given creature), but perhaps your GM will be lenient and allow it anyways. Never hurts to ask.

To both of you: If you use Spellstrike and Spell Combat to cast Chill Touch, you get an extra attack from Spellstrike which you can use to deliver Chill Touch. You then ALSO get a single attack, can't you also use THAT to deliver Chill Touch, effectively delivering two charges of it in one round?

If you use both Spellstrike AND Spell Combat, then yes, you could get two charges off in the opening round. Good luck doing this if the target is more than five feet away though.

A minor nitpick: Spellstrike doesn't give you a bonus attack. Casting Chill Touch gives you the attack. Spellstrike just allows you to deliver it through your weapon.

Thank you for the replies, I did a search on the forum for 'magical lineage' and it didn't turn up anything useful so I went ahead and asked.
