After the announcement of the 5th DnD, some friends of mine were seriously thinking to switch to Pathfinder. Actually, I had seen Pathfinder before and I was so happy to see a game that has Summoner as a class. It was the second game I saw such a think (If not mistaken Anima has also the summoner class).
Thus, I thought of a Gnome Summoner. Looking around the towns to build a backround I noticed Korvosa's Acadamae. On the discription of the school was that they train greatly in Conjuration.
This is why I ask:
1) Could rp wise a summoner been confused with a conjuration user?
2) The book mentions that Academae has tuition but doesn't say a price.
3) Also: gnomes are get invitation from Academae, does mean the don't take the entrance exam or don't have tuition?
4) Does the bond between the summoner and the Eidolon be enough for the final test or be mistaken for conjuration mastery?
5) Does Summoner (as a user of arcana) know things from other schools but choose to for summoning or is it his speciality and that alone (or is it up to the player/DM to decide?)
6) Can Eidolon teach Magic to the Summoner?
7) Can the Eidolon and the Summoner communicate as long as the Eidolon is in it's plane?
8) Can the summoner go to the eidolon's plane?
Next are some question about the Universe of pathfinder as also for Korvosa:
- In the Guide of the town it's said that there is a temple of Asmodeus. Aren't evil gods supposed to stay in hiding?
- Isn't necromancy considered a banned art?

Asmodeus does not hide as he is lawful, and one of the gods that helped lock away Rovagug the Devourer.
Korvosa is also a former(?) colony of Cheliax, which is a country pledged to the service of Asmodeus.
House Leroung is one of the most prestigious house of magic users, and they also hail from Cheliax... where it is lawful... and enforced... to worship Asmodeus.

The Acadamae is detailed in Inner Sea Magic. I think that has rules for attending it as well.
1) Sure.
2) See above.
3) I'd guess they still have to pay but I don't know remember the exact rules.
4) No clue.
5) Yep. Their spell list has spells from many different schools, probably all of them.
6) I suppose so, if that's an RP thing.
7) Yep. That's the Life Link ability, I think.
8) No clue.

I once went through the summoner spell list, I think from APG only but it might have included UM. Here is the breakdown of spells by spell school
School Spell level-number of spells
Abjuration 0-1 1-4 2-2 3-6 = 13 total
Conjuration 0-1 1-7 2-6 3-7 = 21
Divination 0-3 1-1 2-2 3-3 = 9
Enchantment 0-1 1-1 2-0 3-2 = 4
Evocation 0-1 1-1 2-1 3-4 = 7
Illusion 0-0 1-2 2-3 3-2 = 7
Necromancy 0-0 1-0 2-0 3-0 = 0
Transmutation 0-4 1-8 2-15 3-6 = 33
Universal 0-1
So at least through 3rd level spells, up to level 10, if you don't count the summon monster SLA, the most common spell school on the Summoner list is not Conjuration but Transmutation. A full 1/3 of the spells are actually Transmutation.
