Are you looking for a pre-painted plastic mini or are you willing to paint a metal one?
There is a wolf mini from the D&D minis line that looks particularly dog-like. Unfortunately, it's from an early set, so it's a bit hard to find (it's out of stock here at Paizo).
If metal minis are more appealing, a quick search of Reaper's site found a few different options.
None of these dogs have a saddle or bridle, but they should be of a suitable size for a riding dog. With several thousand minis in my collection, I can understand the desire to have just the right one. Sometimes this just isn't possible and you need to remind people that the mini is just representative.
One of my players is getting quite petulant about this.
Of course, if your player is the one up in arms about this, maybe he should be the one searching for the mini! :)

Myron's already linked to this one, but this Reaper one is the one I bought and painted for our game. It's already got a harness and a little breastplate - sculpting a rudimentary saddle out of epoxy was a pretty simple matter.

Anyone know where I can find a miniature of a riding dog? One of my players is getting quite petulant about this.
Thanks.
Like Myron said, if it's for his character, I'd tell him to start looking for one. I'm not intending to be snarky, but if he wants a Riding Dog mini instead of a suitable substitute, he can put some money down on one.

There is also the Iberian Wolf from the Arcane Legions set.
One note about this miniature, it sits on a base with two pegs. You'll probably want to put it on another base to make it more stable (Arcane Legions uses cards that you put the miniatures in). If you just glue the base that it already has to another base, this will leave you a bit of a slot between the two bases due to the pegs. The great thing about this is you can stick another miniature's base into this slot and you can have the "mounted" character attached.
