I think we all want it, I just think they've set themselves a very heavy agenda for the next 4 weeks, and I don't think we're going to get much that isn't on it.

What we really need is a look at the final proto template choices. Tower wars will not start until at least a week after EE opens, so after Sept 22. I suspect there are a lot of things that must be ready for the 15th, and are higher priority. I'm willing to bet that seven days is not even remotely enough time for "second priority tier" items to advance to first tier and be fully fleshed out. If a given element isn't ready on the first day of EE (which might not be 9/15 - that's still only a target date), then I wouldn't expect to see it for 3-4 weeks minimum. Probably longer.
(I expect the first week after EE to be entirely consumed by fixing items that GW thought were ready for prime time, but blew up in strange ways, instead.)
It will be here when it gets here. In the meantime do what the Pentagon does and create scenarios to use in a conditional decision tree. If x then y. If b then c.
Everyone is F5ing like mad aren't they lol(I am no exception).
Pros are using Alt-F4 instead to force a full refresh. Wouldn't want to miss the update due to browser caching.
do not attempt without training. Not responsible for adverse effects of untrained alt-F4 use.
Ah, the old jokes are the best.
Hello, "So, how many times have YOU clicked refresh on goblinworks.com / blog?" my old friend, I've come to talk with you again...

Goblinworks Blog: Super 8....?

Just as good but, they better be introducing the classic and overused fantasy monster. Seriously, how many times have you killed a reskined giant spider. lol
No new Alpha version this week = No new blog?
See here. Bonny Paz wrote: This week is the same build as last week, so you will not need to download anything new.
Is it Wednesday yet? *click*

Every time you re-fresh the blog a gnome dies. Every time you don't refresh a gnome is born.

I don't know what the delay is, it must be nearly 7:30 in Redmond....

But, for the sake of what little pride I still have, can we stop bumping this thread? It's embarrassing enough that it's here, much less at the top of the list.
Thanks :) Hehehe, so much for that wish... Ha! I guess all the recent nostalgia had to include some of my more humbling moments, too. Thanks for the laugh :)
And yeah, I'm still just as excited for each new blog as I was back then :) Smurf it all! The memories.... :)
Rampant Speculation (in the absence of new information)
I wonder what the odds are that they'll succeeding in introducing Bards, Paladins, and Illithids as PCs in Alpha 8? And do you think that little slip on Goblinworks means that they're going to deploy the entire Open Enrollment map at midnight Friday?

I am going to predict that this weeks blog will include Ryan's cell phone number so we can call him at 3am if the server goes down.
And that the devs are working on a big red button that says FIX, that they will just have to push.

We must not allow a red button gap! Players need that button more than the devs :-).

I thought the big red button said PANIC? (or is that Don't Panic and remember your towel? I forget.) :)
I hope the blog is not so messy that we need a towel.
I hope it so sweet we need a shower and a towel. f5 f5f5f5f5 abd click got tired of f5ing

Hey hey, leave my semis alone...SAS coder for decades here.
My co-supervisor once started explaining fortran to me. After he got to something along the lines of the 6th letter in a line of code was for (I forget) I felt like I was in one of those youtube videos of kids reacting to older technology.

I was trying to convey that you needed to break because the blog was live :)

Maybe like 10 refreshes today... most in the past hour. I should probably develop more patience.
