Hello fellows of Paizonian status. After four years of this community movement of artistry and general awesomeness, spearheaded by the great Hugo Solis, I am setting up a new way to keep track of your art requests so the artists won't have to browse a long thread and potentially miss requests.

Hugo Solis wrote:

What is this thread?

This is some sort of art forum where people come and share their drawings and take commissions from other people to practice and have fun! Here, We are a bunch of people who loves to draw and take requests for drawing fantasy stuff like characters or items!
The thread is open for anyone who wants to share his talents and to all those who wish to request a drawing.

What to do?

Post your commission in this thread, then head over to this forum and start a new thread with the details of your request. The 'Request Forum' is meant as an organized list to keep your post from getting buried and not so much for discussion outside of the specifics of a request, let's keep this thread active =)
The Request Forum does not require you to sign up, just type in the same name you use here on Paizo or sign up anyway.

I would like an elven Paladin, please. Here's what elves look like in my world:

Their ears are, on average, 1 1/2 to 2 inches long and mobile, showing emotion like a cat's. They have a very wide range of possible hair, eye, and skin colors (Many more than any other race. If you can think of a color, there is probably an elf that has it as a skin, hair, or eye color somewhere.), and stripes and spots are naturally occurring features (though not every elf has them). The average height of elves is about 2 or 3 inches shorter than that of humans, and they are usually slightly slimmer.

This particular elf is light skinned (think white American), female, has long black hair and green eyes (in this world elven eyes are human-like, with pupils, unlike Golarion), has faint silver stripes (draw them shaped like tiger stripes if possible, please), wears a black hooded cloak over black field plate armor (The hood is down, not up.), and wields a scythe as her favorite weapon.

Please don't expose her midriff or show massive cleavage. I'd rather her armor covered her chest. Please no boob-plate, either. She's attractive and likes to wear sexy clothing, but not in combat. In that sort of situation she wears more practical things.

Is this from lobe to helix or just the helix? The former would make them smaller than human ears.

Just the helix.

Lantern Lodge RPG Superstar 2015 Top 16

Hello again Nickolas,

The next character in the group I'd like represented is 'Ye Olde Tim', the semi-stereotypical dumb warrior. He's the party's wall, a 6'3 human who's incredibly strong, with brown hair, brown eyes and an infectious grin that appears whenever an idea is formed in his simple mind. He armament is a set if mithril agile breastplate and a pair of spiked shields he dual-wields (one of them a heavy round darkwood shield and the other a heavy kite shield, both bristled in spikes). His other dynamic within the group is being the party chef, often cooking up whatever monster the party kill's into dinner for the evening (he does carry masterwork chef's knives which I treat as daggers for his baddie butchering).

For Tim, I'm imagining the big lunk with both shields strapped to his back on either side, an apron with 'Heal the Chef' on the front over his armor and leggings, with a wooden rolling pin and a large spoon in either hand, or with a spoon mixing in a bowl.

Also, I'm not sure how to do so off the top of my head, but is there a good way to contact you outside of the message boards for commissions?

Please accept my request:

Lennox Revelsome is a man of average height and weight of approximately 25 years of age. He lives in Westcrown. His fair skin and black hair are typical of his Chelaxian heritage. He keeps his hair short in the back and long on top. Though tidy after grooming, it flies into a tangle soon after he enters a fight. He has a thin mustache and a short beard on his chin. Coming from a family of entertainers, he follows the fashions popular in the local acting community of Westcrown – though not slavishly. He disdains the traditional robes of wizards and prefers to wear a pair of brown or grey trousers tucked into sturdy, comfortable boots. A white shirt or tunic with a colorful vest and a light cloak and hat finish his usual attire. He carries with him a masterwork walking stick he uses as a club. Its steel knob is fashioned into the face of a weeping fiend. Tied to it by a leather strap is a silver medal: his old barrister’s license. When adventuring he keeps with him a magical haversack and a spell component bag. His leather gloves have wide lapels up his forearm for use as an occasional perch for his owl familiar. Though he would not admit it, he has an odd tendency of using dramatic gestures and exaggerated phrases in everyday conversation – bemusing his companions.

I had a request for a half-orc inquisitor, but it never got done so I have a new one for a different character if anyone wants to practice or showcase their skills.

The request is a rogue/ranger(urban type) wielding sawtooth sabres. He will be half-drow(you can make him look like a drow if you wish) or hobgoblin(3.5ish version, not the short pathfinder version).

If anyone is taking this up let me know, and I will base the character around whatever you decide to draw it as.

Oooh, just found this thread by my compulsive refresh while gaming, I have a request for my RotRL Varisian Dreamspun Sorceress, Zelaria.

Age 17, Height 5'0", Weight 115lbs, Hair Auburn, Eyes Violet

Zelaria's auburn hair is long and thick, when loose falling well beneath the line of her bottom, but typically held back in a series of braids and plaits worked with and suspended by colorful ribbons and scarves. Her dark complexion is warm and she is frequently seen to blush, which looks fairly attractive set against the clear violet of her eyes. Her runic tattoos, which are quite visible, are worked in vivid shades of violet, blue and pink, which are her favorite colors. There are runes tattooed beneath her left eye, and the primary design can be seen from the neck of her dress to adorn her collar bone, and her left and primary hand., including the last digits of her fingers. Her clothes are decidedly simple andmodest in cut, but richly adorned with embroidery and ribbon, and accessorized. She wears a charm bracelet on her right ankle set with tinkling charms so that there is music whenever she walks.

Her tattoos are as the Varisian Tattoo feat - carnasia, for enchantments.

Oh yeah, as far as equipment is concerned, she has a harrow deck she will use for divinations (fortune teller feat) and wears a broad dirk-type dagger etched with Ulfen runes on her belt.

I have an odd request for a character I plan to play some day, who happens to be from a homebrew race. I have a sketch of her, but it's a rather rough one. http://icyshadowlord.deviantart.com/art/Acantha-sketch-271416393

She's a Lawful Neutral Holstaur (kinda like minotaur, but more human and less bull) Cleric of Zon-Kuthon, who has some kind of painful outfit (not sure yet what it looks like, but the artist is free to make up something) underneath the long robes she wears. She has a pair of horns on her head (which I would want to see more like traditional cow horns, unlike in the sketch), a bovine tail (was not included in the sketch) and ears (as you can see in the sketch) with piercings on the latter, as well as hooved feet (small tufts of fur above the hooves) and a spiked chain in hand.

I should probably request her without the robes covering her up, but that would mean the artist would need to think of an outfit befitting a Kuthite that she would wear underneath them coverings. If anyone chooses to draw this and has questions, then just ask.

I started working on the full figure of this one but put it aside for a portrait. The face seems too human, like it should be just a little bit minotaur looking to match the horns and ears. Is the suit supposed to be leather? And how much flesh do you want showing? The problem is the more painful it appears then the more skin you have to show being mutilated. And it starts to look not like armor at all and purely fetish.

It's kinda cool in the portrait the only hint of her nature is the potentially lethal piercings =)
Acantha, Holstaur Cleric of Zon-Kuthon

I am looking for someone to draw a character for me that is of a centaurian nature, but with the body of a grizzly bear. The human torso and arms are well muscled and have a serious amount of course hair (to the point that from the forearms it hangs). He has the facial features of a "slightly refined" caveman, and tends to decorate himself in feathers, beads and braids. He's a druid, and carries a gnarled staff from which green leafs still sprout near the tip.

Have been looking for someone to draw him for quite some time, and would love to finally see him come to life. The race is a Kodatar, in case anyone is wondering, and yes, they're a homebrew.

Thank you

I would like to commission a portrait of one of my PFS characters... Chibiko. Her description is here: http://paizo.com/people/Chibiko

Will post the details in the above-mentioned forum :)

Small update, Larenth Deschain grows a moustache.

I expect to finish a character once a week.

Elven Paladin Complete!

Already posted on the other forum, this was eaten when I tried to post the other day, attempt two.

This is my current Pathfinder character. I am playing in a homebrew campaign and my favoured enemy bonus is getting plenty of use. This is actually my second character in this game, the first was an Elven Rogue but he after he died I drew inspiration from The Last of The Mohicans and the following image pop into mind and just had to really. So if anyone would sketch this PC I would be eternally grateful.

Uncas, Half-Orc Ranger 5 Description: Uncas is a towering figure, standing just shy of seven feet tall. He has green skin deepened by a life spent outdoors. His clean-shaven face is broad and jaw line, strong. Uncas has long hair that is pure black and it is always tied back into a single, tightly braided, ponytail. He wears a thick fur outfit that gives him a bear-like demeanour. Uncas has a large tattoo of tribal markings that covers his left leg, left arm and left half of his body and face. With a casual glance it might seem to be just a black tattoo, a closer look reveal deep reds and blues within the swirling pattern.

Uncas uses two signature weapons, a mighty Longbow and a unique blue Greataxe. Both of which were made specifically for him. The bow has a simple elegance though it is clearly reinforced for the great strength of its owner. The Greataxe is also of simple but deadly design, the haft and blade crafted from a single piece of blue stained steel. It is roughly a thin triangular shape with the head of the axe the wide end, slightly kinked to the side. The haft is wrapped in leather straps to provide a firm grip. He also has a large knife in a sheath at his belt. Never far from his side is the loyal Magua, a wolf. Magua fur is grey, ranging from light grey of his underbelly to the almost black fur running down his back.

Thanks!

The other threads listed in the OP seemed paizo oriented but this title has given me hope that it will be a little broader.

Any chance that anyone would do a Star Wars RPG character?

Titus Delphinus:

Titus Delphinus was born into a crime family but taken as a jedi apprentice. His instructor "devolved" and often put him in a box before finally running off and getting killed by another jedi...

Anyway, Titus said "screw you guys, you put me in a box" and left the jedi with the support of his family threatening to release some tapes...

Now, he works as an enforcer and supplier for his crime family but has secretly been honing his dark side skills. Game mechanics wise, he is a jedi guardian 5/sith acolyte 1/sith warrior 1 who is a very good Sith Alchemist.

Appearance: Titus is tall and thin (but muscular), looking similar to a young version of Geraint Wyn Davies who played the vampire detective in Forever Knight. Note: He is not suffering from any health debilitation from using the dark side.

pic link of Geraint Wyn Davies

He wears black leather (personalized light armor similar to a jerkin), including boots and gloves and perhaps a red shirt beneath the jerkin, with a cloak or perhaps a duster. He uses a (red) lightsaber or occasionally a sith sword or occasionally a vibroblade and also a blaster pistol but I would be fine if not wielding a weapon at all but just looking "bad". (Note: If too much detail info, feel free to change as desired.)

He also rides a customized (sith) speeder (hover bike, no wheels), which I think would be cool to look like a Harley Davidson.

Harley Davidson Wallpaper

I was thinking one of the last three would be a good start but would be happy with any as a basis for the speeder.

I have no real preference as to how the speeder is included (if at all): riding, beside, behind, etc.

Thanks in advance.

There aren't really any requirements!

Shadow Lodge

I have a couple of requests if you are up for them.

1.A male half elf, alchemist that dresses in the manner of a plague doctor. He is an Ustalavian if that helps stylistically.

2.A male tengu oracle, suffering from the wasting curse. He is a practitioner of Iaijutsu (sword drawing Bushido) he also uses a Kusirigama (Sickle and chain).

I clearly haven't drawn enough caveman faces.

Man-Bear Centaur thing!

Did you mean that his fur is braided in areas? Or maybe he has longer head hair?

BTW everybody, please feel free to critique the drawings if they aren't what you pictured. I like to know how close I got =)

Nickolas, just found my illustration, IT WAS AWESOME!!! So very cool to finally see him drawn up, you did very well in translating my description into what I've always seen in my head. Thank You very much.

Nickolas Russell wrote:

You did fine with the face, They tend to be just a little more evolved than the "so easy a caveman can do it" guys, so you were right in the ballpark.

Nickolas Russell wrote:

Braids, beads, longer hair tied into different fashions. In the end they are a race, so there is room for difference, but you did a fantastic job at giving me a baseline.

Ok I'll post a description on the site. Thank you for doing this...I have always wanted art work for my characters....but I can't not even draw stick figures that look good...

I'll probably be posting alot of request...but I will try to space so others get a chance.

How are you at drawing super heroes?

Just posted an open ended request for my HP variant document.

John Kretzer wrote:

Just as good at drawing anything else I think, at this point I'm pretty confident in drawing whatever. It's the painting that gets me now =)

Evil Lincoln wrote:

I'm glad you posted that up, I think it's unfortunate that so much of the art avoids depicting what's really going on just because of an arbitrary audience rating. Will be fun to work on!

A draft of the text is up in the house rule forum... Will link in the request thread when I'm not mobile.

Got a question....will the art be downloadable?

John Kretzer wrote:

There will be permanent, public links to photos of all free commissions that I do. Just like the previous ones in this thread.

My apologies. I will retry. :)

I would like a picture of Titus Delphinus

Human Jedi Guardian/Sith Acolyte/Sith Warrior

He looks like Geraint Wyn Davies

I would like him standing in front of his speeder with a long hilted bastard sword (Sith Sword) in his hands (black and red gloves), wearing an open black leather jacket, chaps, (red beneath the jacket and chaps) and black boots. Wide stance, body and legs turned 3/4 to the front.

I think it would be cool to have a speeder in the background that looks a lot like this Harley without the wheels.

Oh, that was in reply to your question. I don't require anything in particular about character requests, and don't imagine a reason why I would turn one down.

So what is the expected time between request and finished art? Not trying to rush you or anything...just curious.

John Kretzer wrote:

That depends on how many requests there are. From start to finish it takes me a few hours or less, but I have only a few hours a week to do this. So it shouldn't be more than a week for each person ahead of you. I also take commissions if anybody wants a fully complete drawing and wants it promptly.

Dark Archive

Oooooh, nice.

I'll blunder a request for all my gaming group (I'm the DM), so it'll be a rather long list of stuff... let me start with just two of them, as I understand over-requesting would be bad for the artist (other than quite impolite!). I'd like to give them the portraits as a present of sorts.

- Half Orc male barbarian/cleric of Gorum, wearing chain shirt over simple and tattered/ragged clothing; rough and savage looking, almost feral in features - more orc than human blood in his veins. 6' tall and over 250 pounds in weight. Equipped with two handed waraxe, a spiked gauntlet (spikes are made from wolf/beast fangs) on his left hand, and three spears as ranged weapons.

- Human female cleric of Kurgess, wearing splint mail over cerimonial vest, exceedingly clean and neat looking; has shoulder lenght wavy blond hair, is just under 6' tall and slim (athletic looking, kinda like field jumping athletes). She's equipped with heavy wooden shield, morning star and light crossbow as ranged weapon.

Seeing the drawing of the Dwarven witch, inspires me to request one of my Dwarven sorcerer. He's from the 3.5 game I am currently in.

He's bald with serpentine dragon tattoos on his scalp that seem to move when no-one's looking (not that that effect can be conveyed, but it a little sorcerer quirk). His right ear is torn at the lobe and cauliflowered on the helix and his left ear has two hoops piercing it (one lobe, one higher up, near the top. His expression is set in a near permanent scowl and a scar crosses his left eye (but doesn't touch it) and vanishes into his beard). His beard reaches to mid-chest.
His left arm has a pentadactle dragon's claw brand on it.
Clothing is faily simple, breeches, heavy hobnail boots, a belt with numerous pouches for alchemical items (thunderstones and what not) and a bandoleer of daggers (5) across his chest. His only other clothing is a pair of spiked brass knuckles and some monke-like wrappings to mid-forearm on his hands. He carries a Dwarven waraxe slung across his back (it hooks on the bandoleer).
He's accompanied by his Badger familiar at all times.

I hope to see what you do with this.

Here is an Alias I've been using a long time on these forums that I'd like to see. All the info is in the description section of his profile. Thanks for doing this, it's pretty amazing!

Commissions are taking up my time so I have a bit less time for these. They're still getting done however.

Acantha, Holstaur Cleric of Zon-Kuthon

A thousand apologies for a late reply, but I couldn't help but notice from the Acantha portrait that the sketch had apparently not shown the hair on her head the way it was supposed to be ( she doesn't have bald spots on her head >_>' ), and for that I am very sorry for not giving a proper reference and thus wasting your time in that regard. Also, I really should have put more thought into the armor and clothing when I made that post ages ago, as you said now.

Anyway, I am not sure if this is greedy, but I have another request, a character I am currently actually playing (just started Council of Thieves), and her name is Fiona Vasile. She is a Varisian Changeling, a Tattooed Sorcerer (Accursed Bloodline because mother was a Green Hag) who worships Desna and has practiced the arts of Harrowing on her free time (she will take the Harrower Prestige Class eventually), so yeah.

She's only (?) 5'3'' tall, has a slight but noticeable hourglass build to her (as in, people notice her hips and chest though she's not overly curvaceous) and green Varisian-styled tattoos across her body (Seoni is a good reference for that) that contrast with her unusually pale (almost snow white) skin. Her left eye is violet while her right one is golden in color (it might have actually been vice-versa, which I hope is NOT the case here). She also has long, black, unkempt hair (similar to the Bestiary Changeling unless someone has a better suggestion) and robes similar to those that Seoni wears, though they are purple (plus some other color if any fit) in color.

...also, sorry for the overly long post. Subject to edits, especially due to the eye colors not being entirely clear yet and such.

I was wondering if I could get someone to draw my avatar "Ulgulanoth"; basically a skeleton with black robes and an intelligent item talking witch hat

Ah, I was designing it more as a characteristic of the race(long, angled-back forehead more like a cow) rather than a receding hair line lol. I am doing these as exercises for myself so it certainly isn't a waste of my time, however. When people ask for a new race it can be hard to know how they want it designed though, I was trying to avoid a typical human looking head but that's my own preference =)

Icyshadow wrote:

Well I actually prefer to design things like that myself. Since it was a fairly open ended range of possibilities I was just curious if you had a preference for it.

Do you still want an Acantha drawing? Post your description in the forum please.

Nah, I'm fine just asking for Fiona this time around. It's not like my DM is going to let me play Acantha in any case.

Do you do horses?

I would love a drawing of a cleric I'm playing. I have this awesome image of her in my head, but my drawing skills aren't so great, and I don't think I could do it justice.

The character's name is Storm Caller, and she's a Shoanti Cleric of Gozreh (Weather and Air (Cloud) domains). She has a round face, a ruddy complexion, and grey eyes. She has a piercing gaze that reflects her cunning and charisma. Her eyes do not sparkle; they flash, like the lightning she commands. Like most Shoanti, she is tattooed; on one side of her face is the holy symbol of Gozreh, a leaf with a drop of water. On the other size of her face is a storm cloud and lightning bolt. Unlike most Shoanti, however, she wears her hair long. Gozreh marked her at birth, and Storm Caller- Kailani at birth- has been training to serve the god since early childhood. Her hair has never been cut. It has been elaborately locked, braided and pined up, and it's decorated with seaweed and small shells.

As warrior training came second to her priestly calling, her build is fairly lean, without visible muscle. Her real talent is the way she can manipulate the wind and call down bolts of lightning. Her clothing is simple and practical; warm furs to keep out the cold, and sturdy, high boots that allow her to walk in deep snow without getting her feet cold or wet. She wears a simple breastplate, and carries a shield and trident (though she keeps them put away most of the time). She also carries healing potions and a healer's kit; someone has to apply the bandages once the storm passes, after all.

Lantern Lodge RPG Superstar 2015 Top 32

I really like the stuff that's come out of this thread! Perhaps you could help visualizing two of my favorite characters...

The first, and most desired, is-
Royslydale Glimmerprism Bivinshadow a.k.a Roy G. Biv a.k.a "that Rainbow Gnome". (I'll be using a lot of colors in the description, and so far everything's been black and white. Not expecting anything special ^_^)
Originally an Abjurer/Master Specialist/Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil, with a multi-colored theme, favoring spells like Color Spray, Glitterdust, and anything connected to the Prismatic series; Reflavoring spells like Blur, Grease, and Web to fit the theme. A bit gullible and naive, but a staunch defender of the innocent and protector of his companions.
He has a colorful outfit, red boots, orange pants, yellow belt, green shirt, blue vest or waistcoat, a triangular prism pendant around his neck on a indigo chain, and a purple hairband keeping his white hair in check (think Book from Firefly). He has a neatly trimmed white beard, and small round glasses. His cloak has a rainbow oriented vertically, the colors blending into the all white hood near the shoulders.
He wields multicolored light balls (reflavored Force Needle reserve feat) with a light crossbow or dagger as a last resorts.

Sigfried de Aragon
While training to follow in his father's footsteps as a dragonslaying paladin of Heironeous, Sigfried began manifesting draconic traits, most noticeably a pair of leathery wings. He was banished to a special prison for the 'Tainted'. He was a Paladin of Heironeous//Dragonfire Adept with some draconic feats (wings, etc).
You could depict him in any of three ways:
1) as a prisoner, wearing nothing more than grey or brown threadbare rags and his silver lightning bolt pendant, looking very adolescent, with tiny brownish draconic scales taking the place of patchy acne and flimsy nascent wings.
2) as a good guy, in bright colored (silvers or blues) clothing, proudly bearing a shield decorated with the lightning bolt clutched in a fist (symbol of Heironeous) and wielding a longsword. He still looks mostly human despite the powerful wings sprouting from his back and an even layer of fine, smooth coppery scales covering his skin.
3) as a bad guy. Dark clothing with a symbol of a 5 headed dragon, Tiamat on the chest. He wields a massive two handed flail, and is much more draconic/reptilian looking, with an elongated snout, prominent teeth, and much coarser, dark brown (near black) scales.

I would gladly compensate for any art submitted! ^_^
